Homesick

I was sitting in the passenger seat of the truck with my boyfriend, Chris, driving. We were heading to Colorado. I already missed home. Chris put his hand on my thigh.
     "You okay, Meg?" He asked.
     "I'm fine." I said, putting my hand over his. I fell asleep on the trip. Doogie banged on the window and scared me awake. I gasped and sat up straight. Everyone laughed.
     "We're here!" Porter announced. Chris and I checked into the hotel.
     "I'm gonna do the sweep with the boys, you okay by yourself?" Chris asked.
     "Yes, babe." I said. He smiled and kissed me. I laid down on the bed and looked through pictures. There were pictures of Chris and I doing goofy things and me with my dog. It was maybe two hours later and I was really wanting to go home. Chris opened the door quietly and I looked at him weird.
     "I thought you'd be asleep, what are you doing awake still?" Chris asked.
     "I guess homesickness got to me." I said, looking down. Chris took off his shoes and sat by me and put his arms around me.
     "We'll be home in a few days. I'm sorry I brought you along." Chris said. I looked at him.
     "It's okay, I wanted to spend time with you." I said, kissing his chin. He smiled at me.
     "I love you." Chris said.
     "I love you too." I replied, Chris laid me down and started kissing me.
     "What're you doing?" I giggled as he left little kisses all over my face.
     "Trying to distract you." He said. He sat up on me and looked at me. He leaned over and was grabbing a pillow.
     "Now what're you doing?" I asked.
     "Still miss home?" He asked.
     "Yeah." I answered. He hit me in the face with a pillow and stood up, jumping off the bed onto the other bed. I grabbed a pillow and we had a pillow fight. He got a cup and filled it with water.
     "Still miss home?" He asked. My eyes got wide.
     "I think I'm good now." He giggled and walked over to me and gave me a kiss.
     "Good." He whispered.
