Erica

I felt like I was running for centuries. I could of stopped a couple miles away at a the Charis pack.

The Charis pack focused on the ability to forgive each other. They were one of the underdog packs because they were gentle and not one to start a war but for this reason, the Charis pack made sure they had the best defense team.

After I apologized for trespassing, they passed me a blanket to cover up and then we introduced ourselves. I got to meet the Alpha, Ajax, and his beautiful wife, Aldara. I introduced myself at Erica Baker, the Alpha Queen.

At first, they were skeptical because they heard no news of the Alpha King's mate but after I told them of some of the complications in the Kingdom, they believed me.

"Forgive me, my Queen." Alpha Ajax said as he and everyone in hearing distance bowed.

"On your pack grounds? How could I not?" I said as I bowed back to show my respect. They all smiled at my small joke before I continued. "But you do owe me one favor."

"Anything for you, my Queen."

"Please tell me of the nearest packs for your territory. I'm not too familiar with your land."

"We have to the east the Epide and Orion pack but I wouldn't cross the Orion without permission; they are trained hunters." I nodded my head in understanding and allowed him to finish. "To the west is the Gulura and Eleni pack."

"That's perfect. I'm from the..."

"Gulara pack." Aldara continued for me. "I knew the name Baker sounded familiar. You are the daughter of the Alpha."

"Yes, I am. I should be on my way to rest then."

"You can rest here if you want." They offered.

"Thank you but I used up enough of your time. Also I haven't seen my family in weeks. I should get going."

They offered me a quick lunch and guards but I turned it both down and asked them if I could keep the blanket and promised to visit again before I shifted again and was on my way.

Everything have just started to look familiar to me. I felt myself smile as I saw the guards including Ryan surrounding the pack territory. I ran behind a tree and shifted back to human form and threw the blanket that was in my mouth around me.

I stepped from behind the tree and smiled at their surprised face.

"Hey guys."

That was the last thing I remember before I passed out from exhaustion.

Alerick

I have been sitting silent in my office for the last half an hour.
Dion was sorry?

For what exactly? Our parents? For this unnecessary fight? For taking my Queen?

I took a deep breath and gripped the handle of my chair. I couldn't just sit here anymore. I needed to take action. If he was really sorry, Dion would have stopped this madness. He was being incredibly selfish.

I hated the feeling of just sitting here. I wanted to go rescue Erica if only she would just answer me and tell me where she was.

I wanted to leave this seat but my thoughts kept me glued here. Maybe I should join the training and help out...

The ringing from my office phone shook me out of my thoughts. I stared at it like I never seen a phone before. I finally grabbed it after its third or fourth ring and placed it to my ear.
