"But I didn't even say it, well it's not what I meant anyway." I stated, my cheeks turning into a bright shade of pink.
"You didn't have to, it was written all over your face," The boy continued, his smirk making it obvious that he was earning satisfaction from my utter embarrassment.
I stared at him, "Well you read my face wrong, I'm not remotely attracted to you." I replied somewhat confidently, even though I knew I was filling my own head with lies.
"You like meee." He smirked while rubbing my head, making me feel even more stupid. I glared at him, then looked at the clock, and then back up at him again. Whatever he was feeling, I knew it wasn't lust. He was intoxicated and sad over a girl who broke his heart.
