"come on boys, I have seen girls run faster"

general wentz yelled at them as they ran through the court yard

josh ran faster hating the july rain that fell on top of him and the other soldiers
he would call them friends but they are definitely not friends

god he dreaded going home

thats reason he joined the army
so maybe one day he could fight back
fight back for his momma
but he couldn't
he couldn't bring himself to do it outside he looked so strong but he was oh so broken on the inside he feared the nigh and his feared what other people call home

josh tried to walk quickly to his bedroom so he wouldn't have to see what was happening downstairs

he could hear his momma scream
he was so sorry he couldn't help her
but he was so afraid

he knew what his father would had said

"man up and fight for respect or your going to get eaten in this jungle that is the world"

so he decided to do that
just not today

his so called father fucked his mother against the kitchen table

he could hear but still felt powerless
he was so sorry
he felt so guilty
but he decide this just wasn't his battle to win
