with a sad face josh had to return to his dreaded home that morning just to check on his momma

he walk to the door opening it and walking into the silent home

he saw beer bottles scattered all over the floor but he wasn't really surprised

on the table a
pack of cigarettes opened the majority of the content missing

he ran a hand through his hair a sigh escaping his lips as he continued to walk through the house

he could hear whimpers coming from the master bedroom, he assumed it was probably his mother crying once again so he decided to comfort her

he walked into the room seeing his hurt momma on the floor

head in her hands
loud sobs escaping her lips

he crouched down next to her and pulled her into his arms kissing his momma's forehead, tears forming in his eyes as his mother cried in his chest

"h-he died" those were the words that escaped her lips through sobs

and god josh knew exactly who was dead

and now it was his turn to cry, his turn to let it all out, to show how much his heart ached how everything around him in this room was just so ugly and  loud even tho they made no sound at all

it was extremely horrifying and comforting at the same time

his mind had lost track of time with all the crying going on he told himself at least an hour had past of him and his mother whispering things to each other and themselves

his father was

his real father

josh's dad had gone out of town to make business with other people and in that time he asked his brother, jackson, to take care of his family

but oh did he know that all of this would just turn into a catastrophe and really his brother was mentally ill and was constantly raping his sister in law

now the night was coming to an end
and there was no sight of that demon

they both prayed that he had been killed as well

there suspicions were proofed right when yet another letter arrived home

"we-we are free mother" josh cried his arms wrapped around his mother faster than he could imagine and he smiled so brightly like he only did with tyler

"yes, honey we are safe now" his mother cried

but not because she was scared no not this time she finally was happy

and if she was happy josh was happy
