tyler and josh sat on the living room of dallon's house talking about whatever it was that came to their minds
"what are your new years resolutions?"josh asked tyler
tyler laughed at josh's question and proceeded to shrug "i really don't know , and it doesn't matter anyway because no one ever follows them"
josh laugh and nodded
"that's true"
for a moment they just appreciated each other's presence and looked into the other's eyes
after the night of the storm they had become rather close
they would do almost everything together
not that their best friends care, they were to busy loving each other
to e completely honest brendon and dallon didn't care about it being illegal they just knew they had to be cautious
josh and tyler weren't exactly anything apart from being friends tho they both knew that they had fallen for the other both were just to afraid to say it
"want something to eat?" josh questioned standing up from his seat in the couch
"no tanks"
"ty, you haven't eaten anything today "
"it doesn't matter I'm just not hungry"
josh shook his head and sat down beside tyler
"ty boy, if you don't eat i will have to feed you " josh raised an eyebrow at the younger boy
tyler giggled as josh got closer to his face with food in his hand
"here open your mouth,baby"
tyler blushed at the sudden nickname but kept giggling anyway

tyler opened his mouth widely playing along with josh
as they kept playing around on dallon's house they heard a hard knock on the door
the two boys stopped everything they were doing to stand up and open the door
josh opened the door with a rather angry look in his face to whoever interrupted his time with tyler
"hello, josh"
"debby?"

"debby, what are you doing here?" josh asked worried as he lead her inside the house with a confused tyler following behind
"just came around to visit my favorite person" she said as she turned around to face josh making her dress twirl
josh raised an eyebrow at her "well, dallon isn't here so i guess you will have to come back later" he said gesturing to the door
in any other time Josh will be glad to have debby by but now that he had met tyler, her really didn't have any interest in anyone else
"oh no silly, i came to see you"
tyler looked at josh with confusion plastered over his face tyler could see how josh tensed up at debby's words
"oh well, it isn't the best of times right now" josh said biting his lip out of habit
"and why is that?" debby raised her eyebrow as she continued to inspect the house
josh passed a hand through his hair as he thought of something to say "well me and tyler here were discussing some important things"
debby looked at tyler who was terrified but he nodded anyways to help out his friend
"okay, i guess I'll come back later then"
josh nodded wishing she had never been here in the first place
"well see you later josh," she kissed josh's cheek making him want to throw up but he smiled anyways
"oh and nice meeting ty-" she stopped because it seemed like she didn't remember his name "tyler" josh finished for her
"yeah that, bye"
she walked out the door, every step she took was loud and discomforting for tyler's ears
he already hated her

"hey ty, me and dallon are going to the bar at noon want to come?" josh asked the younger boy who sat in the couch
he's hooked his head not looking from his book
josh sighed and sat next to him in the couch "you alright?" he asked tyler
tyler nodded still not looking up from his book
josh nodded and grabbed tyler's chin making him look up
he could see tyler's watery eyes and he wanted to cry as well seeing such a beautiful boy cry
josh pulled him into a hug almost instantly and traced his hand down his spine, comforting the boy
"you know what I'm not going out either"
tyler look up at him confusion plastered in his face
"staying here with you"
"thanks, joshua "
josh nodded as he held tyler close to him
feeling that if he ever let go his boy will brake down into pieces
