joshua had woken up earlier than usual on that specific day , he felt a slight sting in his heart when he looked over to his loved one , who was sleeping so deeply and calmly beside him , because now he had to leave for training early in the morning leaving him behind
he stood up from the bed with no second thought because he knew himself and he had the knowledge that if he gave his love a second glance he wouldn't be able to leave his side so he made his short way to the shared bathroom so he could do his daily routine

he made his quick way to the kitchen and served himself a warm cup of coffee to drink it after he had looked for the newspaper of the day
his cold feet collided against the wet cement of the outside world that wasn't warm because it didn't include his angel, so he went for the best option that was getting into the warm home once again with the newspaper in hand
he sat down on the complementary wooden chair in front of the table where his boy and himself would normally sit down to have breakfast cup of coffee in hand and the paper in the table as he read the frightening stories that would go on around the horrible world
"joshua?" he heard the small, timid , perfect voice and immediately he looked up just to see a tired boy in a large shirt that definitely didn't belong to him , he was rubbing his eye with one hand and trying to tame his wild fluffy hair , and this sight had joshua drooling instantly
"baby, what are you doing awake so early?" josh asked worried standing to wrap his now warm arms around his angel
"i just didn't see you in bed and i panicked," he said , his lips now in a pout and his eyes a little teary "thought you left" he finished sniffling and running his small hand under his perfect nose
and this killed josh inside, because he wasn't a fool , he knew that when tyler said that he didn't mean it in the way that he had left for work, no, tyler thought joshua had left him
that he had left forever
"my love , i would never leave you," he pressed his bigger forehead against the younger's own "never"
tyler only nodded, sniffling once again just to receive a passionate, full of love, full of joy kiss from his lover
"hey no more of that," joshua said wiping a tear away from tyler's rosy cheek "why don't you come to training with me?" joshua suggested not wanting his boy to feel nervous all day
tyler smiled shyly and replied with a simple small nod, josh smiled and kissed his forehead "go change then" he said letting tyler go so he could leave to change

they had made it to camp after a few minutes of walking since tyler insisted they walked for the day was too beautiful to go unappreciated, to which joshua only responded by saying that tyler was more beautiful than any day
when they entered the training centered they were saluted by everyone they walked by, of course in the most formal way possible since joshua was their general, it is not the highest rank but it was when no one else was around and in this case no one was
they kept walking down the field on their way to joshua's so called office when they bumped into joshua's least-favorite soldier
none other than the infamous ryan ,yes the guy who checked out tyler's bottom, of course joshua would never admit to him how much it annoyed him and how much he now detests the boy
"hello,sir" ryan saluted and surprisingly to josh he did it in a formal way, which was rare for the young boy was very rude at times
"salutations, ross" joshua replied back surprised at the odd behavior "how can i help you?" he asked out of politeness
ryan's gaze quickly turned to tyler who was shyly standing behind joshua, rayn smiled seductively at tyler making the younger fella blush incredulously and not out of attraction but out of the intentions in the soldier's mind that he knew very well
this movements didn't go unnoticed by the older general so he coughed to pull ryan out of his inappropriate trance "oh yes sir, the president is here and would like to talk to you" joshua saw the smug look on ryan's face when he said the words "he is waiting for you, i suggest you go by yourself," he added quickly adverting his gaze to tyler " i can take care of this angel" he finished getting joshua's eyes to be deadly on his skull
joshua sadly knew that he couldn't take tyler with him because this was private army stuff but he hated the fact of who he was leaving him with
with a dark, angry look joshua replied "fine"
taking a last glance at a blushing terrified tyler he said "i'll be quick" and was off to meet the leader of the country leaving the dangerous boy beside his angel
