Chapter 8

Thursday after school I met Lola and Vida at my car since we just all decided to carpool.

“Guess who's going to homecoming...” I said smiling as I saw both of them walking towards me.

“YOUR LYING!!”

“NO WAY! OMG!!” They both shrieked at the same time while running to me in and giving me a bone crushing hug.

“How?” Vida exclaimed.

“Don’t ask how, just be glad she can go!” Lola said.

“Lets go shop now!” I exclaimed.

“I call shotgun!”

“Vida! Thats not fair, you always get shotgun.”

“You snooze, you loose.”

“Girls, just get in.” We rolled all the windows down and turned up the radio.

When we reached the mall I asked the girls what they might have planned to go as.

“I don’t know, whatever catches my eye.” Lola shrugged.

We walked into the first store and all went our own ways before meeting near the back minutes later.

“Me and Lola both found some stuff, you didn't find anything?”

“No, its fine. I'll tell which one looks best.” I smiled and took a seat.

Lola came out first wearing a one piece that was designed to be cat-woman and all leather. I was shocked to say in the least. She must've noticed.

“I wanted a change. I want that same expression on everyones face. Looks like I know what I getting.” “Wait I want to see!” Vida shrieked through the doors.

“Well come out!” Lola replied.

“I'm kind of iffy about this, but I really like it.”

“Come on out, show us.” I said. She walked out wearing a extremely short dress that had lacy stockings and a lacy top. She held up bloody fangs in one hand and had a long jet black wig in one hand.

“Oh Vida, this is PERFECT for you!” Lola shrieked.

“Vida! You look sexy! Wear it! It really is perfect for you!” I said.

“I don’t know...” She said uneasily.

“I'm really starting to think you and Lola switched bodies or something.”

“Do you think Jose would like it?” Vida blurted out, before widening her eyes.

“Um, yeah. Why...?” I peered.

“Nothing. I'll get it.” She quickly said with a hint of a smile peeking before shutting the door. I looked at Lola and saw her smile at me wickedly. I laughed silently as she went to go change out of her costume too.

Fifteen minutes later, Vida and Lola had bought their costumes and were looking for a store that might have masks and some more costumes for me.

“Oooh! Theres one!” Lola pointed to a creepy store that I never noticed all the way in the corner, near the dead side of the mall.

“Um, I don’t know Lola...”

“Its PERFECT! Look they even have masks! I have a feeling we'll find yours here. C'mon!” Vida grabbed my hand and dragged me there.

As we were walking in a bloody hand shot out causing me and Lola to scream. I placed a hand on my chest, waiting for my heart to calm down.

“What the hell.” Lola said.
