The tall raven haired Captain stepped into a bar. Behind the bar's counter was a woman. Upon seeing the officer, she grinned. "Information I suppose?" She questioned. Roy just smirked slightly in reply. "You know me too well Madame Christmas." He responded, making the older woman laugh slightly. "What info do you need this time?" She questioned curiously. Roy sighed. "I need information on possible locations for a murderer." He explained. Madame Christmas raised an eyebrow. "I'm gonna need more info than that Roy," She replied. Roy nodded. "Alright. Their killing method is smashing people's heads in with a hammer. Better?" He questioned. Madame Christmas nodded. "That should work." She decided. "I'll give you a call when I found something." She added. Roy nodded again and turned to leave. "I expect the next time you walk in here, to at least bring a date, by the way, Roy." She teased, making the Captain turn a slight red. 'I doubt she'd want me to bring her here....' He thought in reply. Roy sighed softly and walked back to his office. When he returned, he sat down, and his stomach let out a quiet grumble. Seconds later, Lieutenant Hawkeye entered his office, holding a box. She placed it on his desk, giving the man a small kind smile. "Here Sir." She said softly. "Thank you Riz-" He was cut off by her. "Not at work Captain." She quickly scolded him, making the man chuckle. "We're basically alone." He replied, supporting himself. This made a blonde Lieutenant sigh quietly. "Alright, Roy..." A few hours later, the Captain and Hawkeye went to a night club, Madame Christmas had informed Roy of. She explained that he may find something helpful for his investigation. Roy had been wearing a white shirt, with a small black vest on top. Meanwhile, Riza wore a purple vest, on top of a navy blue dress.
Edward stood guard at the front of the bar, staring at anyone and everyone who entered. He was dressed in a black button-down shirt, with a red tie hanging loosely from his shirt collar. His hair was pulled back and tied up. As he stood guard, he watched as a tall raven haired male entered the bar, a blonde woman following after him. He and the man made eye contact as they walked in. To say the least, he did catch the blonde's attention. When people stopped walking into the bar, Ed's eyebrow twitched in annoyance. All he wanted to do was get home- more like a makeshift house- and plop onto his bed- an old mattress he found- and sleep. He sighed and decided to walk inside the bar. The bar room was large, a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The walls were painted a deep brown, and a counter for people to sit at was in a corner of them room. The floor was a dark red carpet. Ed quickly spotted the raven haired man he saw earlier. He was debating about approaching him, but he decided against it. He was going to walk back to his post outside when there was loud bang in the room. People began screaming, and Ed smirked before running towards the sound. "Hah! I caught ya!" He exclaimed. Standing before him were about five or six people, rogue alchemists. "What the hell?" The raven male exclaimed, running over. Ed just looked at him with an annoyed yet confused face before shrugging and standing to face them. Ed and the mysterious man found themselves surrounded, and the two males subconsciously stood back to back. Roy pulled on his alchemy gloves. Ed saw this and turned his head. "No don't! You'll catch this whole place on fire dumbass!" He exclaimed. He noticed the gloves. Those belonged to the Flame Alchemist. Ed smirked a little. 'This should be interesting..' He thought. Roy looked at Ed. "Then what do you suggest I do brat?!" He replied. Ed's eyebrow twitched and he glared at the man. "I don't know Mr. Flame Alchemist, maybe hand to hand combat?!" He replied, seeing a gang member, go to attack the man, and quickly kicked him. Roy looked at the blonde. "Thanks, I owe you one." He replied. Ed just chuckled and used his metal arm to block an attack. Roy and Ed found themselves standing back to back again, and Ed clapped his hands together, before placing them onto the ground, making the floor come up, and catching the thugs. "People who don't use alchemy the right way don't deserve to use it!" He explained, a deathly aura radiating off the blonde. Man did Roy feel bad for those guys. Then again, they were thugs. 'I get the sudden feeling I'll be placing these guys in jail...' He thought. Ed just glared at the rogue alchemists again before sighing. His client ran to him. "Sir...the wall is..." She trailed off. Ed kindly smiled at her. "I'll fix it for you." He explained, walking towards it, and clapped his hands together before placing them on the wall. A blue spark emitted throughout the room, as the broken parts of the wall, slowly started to reassemble itself. When it was done, Roy walked towards the blonde. "Who are you?" He asked. "The names Ed." He replied. He decided to add, "Why do you wanna know? Planning to arrest me officer?" making Roy glare at him slightly. "Don't push it kid. I need to ask you some questions." He explained. Ed nodded. He really just wanted to go home. Eventually, Roy and Hawkeye met up again, and Hawkeye looked at Ed curiously. "I'm taking him in for questioning." The Captain explained. Riza nodded. The ride back to the office was silent, as Ed watched the dark scenery roll by. Riza decided to try and talk to the blonde. "I'm Riza Hawkeye, nice to meet you." She greeted, holding out a hand to shake. Ed smiled a bit at the gesture, and his heart throbbed a little. It had been a while since someone was kind to him like this. He gladly accepted it. "I'm Ed." He replied, making the Lieutenant smile a little. They eventually arrived, and the three stepped out. Roy showed Ed to his office. Alphonse had been working late that night, and when he caught sight of the young man, he dropped all the papers he was holding. "BROTHER!"
