The next day, Ed was back at work, happily doing research with his love. Roy and Ed were very shy about their relationship still. They two would blush when their hands brushed against one another. A few times Havoc or Breda would be in the office when the new couple did something, resulting in them snickering. The two would just glare at them when they did. "Hey Roy, look at this. I think I finally found a shop that sells that bolt." Ed stated, flashing Roy the screen. They had never been able to find the store that sold it for obvious reasons. Roy raised an eyebrow. "Shall we check it out?" He questioned. Edward grinned at him, and nodded. "Let's go!" He exclaimed childishly. This made Roy chuckle and stand from his seat, along with Ed. The Captain pulled him into a hug, kissing his fire softly. "Alright, let's take my car, use GPS to get there, and investigate." He chuckled. The blonde alchemist nodded in agreement. They walked hand in hand towards Roy's car, and they got in. The blonde read off the directions to the store off to Roy as he drove. Eventually, after passing multiple colored stores, cars, and traffic lights, they arrived. The golden headed alchemist was the first to hop out of the car. The taller alchemist followed after him, and chuckled at the blonde's eagerness. "Don't act too cute Ed, or else someone may just steal you away from me." Roy chuckled, making the blonde blush from embarrassment. "S-Shut up..." Edward murmured. The raven haired Captain chuckled. They stepped inside the store, auto mail clutching the bolt. When they walked inside, a little bell could be heard, letting the store owner know that he had customers. The two alchemists walked up to the front desk. "Hey there! What can I do for-" The man had stopped talking, when he turned around and saw who the taller male was. "The Flame Alchemist...?" He asked. Roy kindly smiled at him. "Hello there Sir. My partner, Edward, and I have a few questions to ask." Roy explained. The man nodded. "Alright." Ed placed the bolt on the desk. "Does you're shop sell these type of bolts?" He asked. The man picked up the object, and squinted his eyes, taking a good look at it. "Hmmm, yup. I definitely sell these." He replied. Ed and Roy looked at one another, thinking the same thing. "Can you give us a list of say, the last six or seven people who bought a bolt like this one?" Roy questioned. The owner nodded. "Here." He replied. Edward looked at him. "Can you name any frequent customers?" He asked. Roy looked at the blonde with question. "Yes." He began listening names. Roy then looked over the list. "Ed, look at this. Isn't this the name of the girl who you and Alphonse went to see?" Edward's golden eyes widened slightly. "Winry...? Yeah, that's her." He responded. "Oh, Ms. Rockbell? She bought that bolt a few days ago, saying that she needed it for her auto mail..." The store owner explained. "Thank you for the help Sir." Roy said softly, before grabbing Edward's arm, and pulling him back to the car. They sat down, talking in all the information. "This definitely gives us a lead." Roy stated. Edward nodded in agreement. "I think we should question Winry." He suggested. Roy raised an eyebrow. "Alright, you beginning to form some theories?" He inquired. Ed smirked a little. "Maybe." He replied. Without further question, Ed told Roy how to get to the college. When they pulled up, Edward looked around, finding the girl's dorms. When he did, he got out of the car, and Roy followed after him. They ran towards the rooms, and asked one of the girls which room belonged to his blonde haired mechanic. They stepped into the dorm room. "Winry?" Edward called out. No response. As he walked, he felt himself trip over something, and Roy quickly caught him. "Careful there Ed." He chuckled, and the blonde rolled his eyes. "What did I trip over anyway?" He asked, looking down at a wrench. His face went blank. "Oh." The closet in the room caught Roy's eyes. He walked towards it, and looked to Ed, before opening it. Inside, was an exoskeleton. "What the hell....?" Roy breathed. Edward's eyes widened. "It's auto mail...." He spoke, his voice shaking. And suddenly the two alchemists began to connect the dots. Ed felt his knees go weak, as he felt Roy hold him close. "Winry she....she's behind all of this......"
