It Can Trap

Roy found himself trapped. Trapped within a love triangle that is. He knew he was interested in Riza, his Lieutenant. Riza Hawkeye normally kept a calm though process. She was level headed. She knew of the pain that comes along with being a cop. Riza was like a completed puzzle piece. She was an open book. Roy knew her like the back of his hand, since they had been childhood friends. Being with Riza, was comforting. The two rarely argued with one another, and she had always watched out for him. She was his eyes, and he was her shooter. It was like Riza Hawkeye was in charge, giving Roy things to stay on point, and push through. When Roy found himself with Riza, he got a sense of a domestic life with her. However, Edward Elric was an entirely different story. Unlike Riza, Edward was the very opposite of calm. He was like a blazing fire. Never still, never settle. He, unlike Riza, was a complete mystery to Roy. One day, he just showed up out of no where, yelled a bunch of things at Roy, and was cocky with him. Ah yes. The blonde could make Roy choke on his words, and can make him trip on his emotions. Especially that temper of his. Call him little, and one minute Edward could he yelling at him. The next, the blonde haired alchemist could be by Roy's side, making sure he didn't do something stupid. When he really thought about it, Roy knew nothing about Ed. Aside the small details Alphonse had told him. But that's what attracted Roy to the younger blonde. To him, Edward was like a magnet, and Roy was the one piece of metal that stuck to him. The raven headed Captain wasn't sure for his feelings towards the small alchemist, but he had a feeling he was falling for him. And he was falling hard. Havoc stepped into Roy's office, raising an eyebrow. "Something wrong Boss?" He asked. "No, I'm fine Havoc." The Captain replied. Lieutenant Havoc nodded in response, and walked out.
When Edward sat up from his spot on the ground, he glared at Winry. "What the hell Winry?!" He exclaimed. The blonde girl's ocean blue eyes widened. "Ed?!" She asked. The alchemist couldn't resist a grin. "Who else would it be?" He replied. Winry threw her arms around him, and Ed chuckled. Al sweat dropped a little as students looked over at the commotion because of the three. "Why don't we go outside....?" Al suggested shyly, and the other two teens nodded in agreement, stepping outside. Once they were, Ed felt another impact on his poor head. "SEE I TOLD YOU AL! FUCKIN' WRENCH OF DEATH!" Edward exclaimed in pain. Alphonse laughed softly at his brother. "What the hell Ed?! Why didn't you send any letters, or something?" The blonde mechanic questioned, looking at the elder Elric with annoyance. "It's uh...complicated Win." The alchemist replied. "Of course." Winry replied, rolling her eyes slightly. "Anyways, what are you two doing here?" She asked again. Edward looked to Alphonse, then to Winry. Al nodded in agreement. "Well Winry...you've heard about the murders happening right?" The younger Elric asked. Winry nodded in reply. "Yeah..." She trailed off. "The victim's are from your school...and brother and I just stopped by to tell you to be careful." Alphonse explained. Winry nodded slowly, her face dropping slightly. Edward had sensed something between the two, and looked at Al. "I'll be waiting by the front entrance Alphonse." He explained. The younger blonde nodded, as his brother walked off. From the corner of his eye, Ed watched as Winry hugged Al. 'Guess she's pretty freaked out now....' He thought. A few minutes later, Alphonse was by his side once again. "Seems someone getting out of the 'friend zone' hm, little brother?" Edward teased. Al's face turned a bright red. Before Edward had left six years ago, he knew of his little brother's feelings for his mechanic. The thought made Edward smile a little. "Invite me to the wedding alright?" The alchemist added, making Al's blush darken. "Br-Brother!"
