It Can Be A Crime

"This boy is responsible for murder Captain Mustang! You don't really think we can let this slide, do you?" He let out a sigh. "Your honor, with all do respect, he was forced to do it against his will. The murder charges should be against Winry Rockbell." Roy responded. The judge looked to him, before looking to the Fullmetal Alchemist. "Is what he says true Mr. Elric?" He asked. Edward slowly nodded. "Yes Sir." He replied. The judge sat in thought for a few moments. "Alright. Edward Elric, I declare you innocent, on your way out, bring in that Rockbell girl would you?"
After they had taken Winry into custody, she confessed that she was the one who kidnapped Alphonse, and forced Edward to kill someone. Roy had decided to take the case involving the person's mysterious murder. He didn't want any other officer taking it, having a feeling they'd arrest Ed without question.
Roy felt someone hug him from behind, and he smiled a little. "What's up Ed?" He asked. The small alchemist could only give a chuckle in reply. "Nothing, just bored."
After Ed had gotten out of the hospital, Roy sat him down, and finally, learned about his past.
The blonde's parents had been brutally murdered in front of him, at the young age of nine. Alphonse had been with Winry and Granny Pinako that day, so Ed was left with Trisha and Hohenheim.
Roy smiled at Edward, and leaned towards him, placing a kiss on his lips. "So, how long are you staying?"
When Winry, Al, and Pinako came back to the house, they found Edward crying out for his parents. Pinako shielded Winry and Al from the sight, and forced them outside. Poor Alphonse had begun to realize what happened, and he started to cry as well. Winry had been there to comfort him, and gently, not to mention shyly, she pulled him into a hug.
"Forever." Was his response, and it made Roy look at him with shock. "What?" He asked. Edward grinned at him. "I joined the ranks. Permanently."
A few years later, Edward had committed human transmutation by himself, losing his leg for Trisha, and his arm for Hohenheim. It was all in vain. Both were still dead. When Al had found him, he hurriedly brought him to the Rockbell's.
Roy couldn't help but look at Ed, smiling a bit. "That's great!" He exclaimed, hugging the blonde close to him. Ed nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it is."
Once he was getting better, Ed had asked Winry and Pinako for auto mail. They hesitated slightly, but agreed. After that, Edward left a year later, reappearing when Alphonse had turned seventeen.
Everyone at the office had then learned about Ed's permanent stay, but there was also a second piece of news. This had come from Riza and Havoc. One morning, Havoc had burst through the door, exclaiming, "Lieutenant Hawkeye and I are dating!" And a round of cheers erupted from his co-workers.
Roy pulled Ed into another kiss, and they pulled apart after a few minutes. The Captain staring at him. This man had came crashing into Roy's life, and stole his heart, the one thing most important to him. But now, it was the blonde alchemist, standing in front of him, that was now most important to him.
Guess Roy could say,
"I love you Roy."
"I love you too, Ed."
