Selena's P.O.V.
Yesterday was the best day of my life. I still could hardly believe that I had plans with Justin this weekend. After school I was hanging out with Taylor.

"Where were you yesterday?" she asked. Taylor and I stopped in front of the library. I made us stop in front of here on purpose, in case Justin came out. I was pretty sure if he ditched that he would hang out in here, at least I think.

"Oh I was in the library." I said.
Taylor made a weird face. "Why were you in there?" she asked. "I was hanging out with someone." I said. I looked over to get a better view of the library doors to see if Justin would come out.

"What are you looking at?" she asked. "Are you waiting for someone?" "Uhm....no." Lying was starting to become my bad habit. I needed to fix that fast. Taylor knew I was lying. "Seriously Selena. Who are you looking for?" she asked.

"Okay. It's this super hot guy that I meet yesterday. We blew off class together and he walked me home." I replied excitedly. I left out that we had plans on Saturday because I didn't know if Justin wanted people to know that we had plans. I heard the library door open and Justin and his friends walked out. Whenever I saw him I couldn't help but smile. Taylor saw me smiling. She looked over to see who I was smiling at.

"Oh my gosh! You like Justin Bieber?" she asked. I didn't answer. I think the look on my face pretty much gave it away. Justin and his friends walked past me and Taylor. Taylor put her hands over mouth. I didn't know why she was so shocked that I liked him, but she was. I wanted to go and talk to Justin, but I was afraid. 'Why was I always?' I thought.

Taylor took her hands off her mouth and wiped them on her floral print dress. She stuck her hands in the pockets of her dress. "Are you going to introduce me to your boyfriend?" she asked. My mouth dropped. "What?" I asked. "Are you going to introduce me to your boyfriend?" She asked again.

"Tay, he's not my boyfriend?" I said. 'But I want him to be.' I thought. "But you want him to be, right?" she asked. My heart began beating faster and I began blushing. "Well...yeah." I murmured.

"Well go talk to him." she said. I fixed my hair and started walking over towards Justin. Justin and his friends were almost outside of the gate. I almost yelled, "Justin! Wait!" But I couldn't. I was too afraid that if I talked to Justin when he was with his friends that he would act like he didn't know me.

I'm not sure why I was thinking Justin would ignore me. I mean he's sweet. But Justin and I were alone yesterday. What if he only acted that way around me, and was a different person around his friends. I walked back over to Taylor. I almost wanted to cry.

I liked Justin so much it was unbelievable. I didn't understand why I was getting so emotional. I mean Justin was just a guy. Wait...no. He was more than just a guy....well to me anyways.

Justin's P.O.V.

My teacher had sent me to the library 5 minutes before class was over to get worksheets. I waited until she wasn't looking to grab my stuff and leave. I went into the library and looked around for Selena. I hadn't seen her all day which was disappointing. I stayed in the library all lunch waiting for her to show up, but she didn't. I looked around the library again and saw Chaz and Ryan.

"Hey Justin." Ryan said. "Hey Ryan, hey Chaz." I said. "Why are you in here?" Chaz asked.

"Paperwork for the teacher, but she can get it later." I said. "What about you guys?" I asked.

"The sub for Physics let us out early." Ryan said. The bell rang. I figured I would find Selena tomorrow and get her number. "C'mon let's go I want to play basketball before I start my homework." Chaz said.

"We can play at my place." I offered. Chaz and Ryan both nodded.

These guys had always been here for me. Before my dad got a job as a movie producer and became rich. When I was poor Chaz's family and Ryan's family took mine in. For awhile we would go to Chaz's house for dinner, and the next we would go to Ryan's.

We headed out of the library door and I saw two girls standing in front of the library. The blonde girl was standing in front of the other girl, blocking her face. I recognized the back of the blonde girl's head because she sat in front of me in Calculus, it was Taylor Swift. Seeing Taylor made me think of Calculus, and Calculus made me think of Selena's lie. I saw the girl's hair, and it looked like Selena's, but I couldn't tell.

We passed by them but I didn't get a long enough look to see if it was Selena. I looked back but I didn't look long because of Chaz. "Justin don't you think if I use this technique I will make the shot?" he asked. I looked over at Chaz.

"Uhm...yeah sure." I said. "What were you looking at?" Chaz asked. "Or were you looking at someone?" Ryan asked.

"Let's just go get in the car so we can go to my house and play basketball." I said. "Okay fine don't tell us." Chaz said.

Chaz, Ryan, and I got in the backseat of the car. "Do we need to stop at the address I picked you up at yesterday?" the driver asked. I remembered I had told the driver where I was yesterday; which was Selena's house.

"Uhm..no. But keep that address because I'll need you to pick me up there tomorrow." I said. "I mean can you pick me up there tomorrow?" I asked. The driver nodded.

"Why are you going back to that place?" Ryan asked. "Yeah. Didn't we just pick you up there because you got lost?" Chaz asked. All I had was Selena on my mind, and had forgotten that they were in the car.

I could feel the truth wanting to come out of my mouth. But I didn't want to say anything because I didn't know what it was.

"Yeah, I left something there." I said. 'Yeah that sounds believable.' I thought. "What did you leave?" Chaz asked. Ryan and Chaz both starred at me curiously. Great I knew I should've sat by a window instead of the middle.

"I left...." I looked out the front window and around the car, "I just left my pencil." I said. 'Worst lie ever.' I thought. They both stared at me like I was a freak.

"You're going back for a pencil?" Ryan asked. "Yeah. Well it's my lucky pencil and I have a huge test tomorrow. You guys know how superstitious I am." I lied. "Since when?" Chaz asked.

"Uhm...you know since forever." I lied again. "Uhm yeah sure." Ryan said.

"We're going to get the truth out of you sometime." Chaz said. I thought about my lies. They were pretty bad, like Selena's lie about my shirt, well sweater. That was just another thing we had in common, and that was being terrible liars.
