Justin's P.O.V.

I pulled into the driveway of my house. We were always interrupted when we were about to kiss. Now I could add Selena's step-dad to the list of people who interrupted us when we were going to kiss. I walked into my house. I went into the kitchen and put milk into the fridge. I turned around and saw my mom sitting at the table. My mom put her newspaper down.

"Oh hey Justin. I didn't see you there." she said. I knew she saw me. "Thanks for getting milk." she said. "You're welcome." I said. I went over to the table and sat down in the chair next to my mom. "How was your date?" my mom asked. I didn't know if it was a date or not.

"I wasn't sure if it was a date." I said. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I don't know, we just never agreed if it was a date or not." I said. "Well did you guys kiss?" she asked.

"Really mom?" I asked. "Well did you?" she asked curiously. I wanted to kiss Selena so bad. "No, but almost." I said.

"Then it was a date. I mean you two didn't kiss but it seems like it was a date." she said. My mom was right, it was a date. Wasn't it? I just hoped Selena felt the same way. My mom got up from the table and put her glass in the sink.

"Oh I forgot to mention; someone from the hospital called." she said. I immediately got up from the table and went over to the sink. I stood on the opposite side of my mom. "Who called?" I asked. My mom looked down at her glass. She began rinsing it in water.

"It was some girl." my mom said. 'Taylor? It had to be her. I didn't know anyone else in the hospital that was a girl.' I thought. "Did she say her name?" I asked. My mom took the glass out of the sink and put it in the dishwasher. "I think she said her name was Taylor." she replied.

I ran out of the kitchen and grabbed the keys off the counter. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked while walking out of the kitchen. "To the hospital." I said.

"Uhm Justin. Did you forget something?" she asked. I turned around and looked at my mom. 'Wait how did Taylor know my number? Selena probably gave it to her. But why would she do that?' I thought.

I turned around and looked at my mom. She wasn't holding anything. So what did I forget?  "What did I forget?" I asked. My crossed her arms across my chest. "Really, Justin?" she asked. Oh yeah, I was grounded.

Selena's P.O.V.

I got up off the couch. I began walking to my room. "Oh wait sweetie." my mom said. I turned back around. "I forgot to mention, you got a call from the hospital." she said. 'Taylor.' I thought. "Was it Taylor?" I asked. "Yes." my mom said.

I remembered I had kept the car keys in my purse. I grabbed my purse off the couch and walked over to the front door. "Selena where do you think you are going?" my mom asked. "To see Taylor in the hospital." I said. "You're grounded. Remember?" she asked. I didn't really think I was grounded, I mean my parents let me go out on a date.

"Mom please. How can you still say I'm grounded? I mean you let me go out on a date." I said. "Selena all you did was go get diapers with a tag along for a really long time." my mom said.

"But mom this is Taylor we're talking about. I miss her so much. I have to know she's okay. I was going crazy in the store today. I mean I thought this blonde lady was Taylor. I have to go see her." I explained.

"Selena, I know I want you to see your best friend." my mom said. "Mom please. I learned my lesson. I just want to see my best friend." I said.

"Fine. But if you get in any more accidents, then I'm taking your license away." she said. "Okay, okay. Can I go to the hospital?" I asked. "Yes. Be back before curfew tonight." she said. "Okay." I said while going out the front door.

I went to the driveway and stopped by the driver's door of my mom's car. I opened my purse and searched for the keys. "Where are you going Selena?" my step-dad asked as he walked out of the garage. "To the hospital." I said. 'Why did I have so many things in my purse?' I thought.

"Why are you going to the hospital?" he asked. "To see Taylor. She called the house earlier." I said. I found the keys in my purse. I pulled them out and unlocked the car. "You're mom's okay with this?" he asked. "Yeah. She said it was fine." I responded.

"Tell Taylor I said hi." he said. "I will." I replied. I opened the driver's door and sat in the driver's front seat. I turned the car on and backed out of the driveway. Then I realized this was the first time I had rove since the accident. My heart began to pound. I tensed up a bit.

'Why was I so nervous?' I thought. I turned the music down. I pulled out my phone and quickly turned it off. I couldn't have any distractions while I was driving anymore. I threw my phone into the passenger seat. I stared at the road until I reached the hospital.

There were no open spaced close to the hospital. I pared my car. I got out my car. I looked over at the car next to me. The driver got out of the car. It was Justin. "Justin?" I asked. "Selena?" he asked.

"What are you doing here?" we both asked at the same time. "To see Taylor." we both said simultaneously. Justin and I both laughed. Justin walked over to me and gave me a hug. He smelt so good. Justin stopped hugging me. "Did your mom tell you Taylor called?" he asked.

"Yeah, but I thought it was weird how was weird how she called my house instead of my cell phone." I said. "I thought it was weird how she called my house." Justin said. "Did you give her my number?" he asked. I shook my head. That was weird. How did Taylor know Justin's number?

Justin and I walked to the front door of the hospital. Our hands were so close together when we were walking. I wanted to hold his hand, I mean our hands fit perfectly together. "I'll go see what room she's in." Justin said. "Okay. I'll go get her something from the gift shop." I said.

"I'll meet you there when I find out." Justin said. "Kay." I said. Justin and I went in opposite directions. I looked back at Justin, when he was walking to the check-in desk. I smiled then turned back around.
