Justin's P.O.V.
The bell rang. I got up and went to the teacher's desk. "Can I have my phone back please?" I asked. "Fine. But if I catch you texting in class again, then your phone becomes mine." the teacher said. "Yeah okay." I said. The teacher handed me my phone. I took my phone and walked out of class. I saw that I had texts from Selena.
'Why was she sorry?' I thought. Selena didn't do anything wrong. I walked down the hallway and bumped into Taylor. "Watch where you are going Eager Bieber." Taylor said. "Sorry." I said. Taylor looked back down at her phone, and continued to walk in the opposite direction. I texted Selena.
Me: Selena why are you sorry?
Selena's P.O.V.
The bell rang. Still no reply from Justin. It was obvious that he didn't like me. Taylor and I walked out of class. We stopped in front of the door. I just looked at Taylor. "What's wrong?" Taylor asked. "You were right." I cried.
"What are you talking about?" Taylor asked. "You were right about Justin. I guess he's not the one for me." I cried. "Oh that's too bad." Taylor said. Taylor gave me a hug. Then we stopped hugging. "What did he say?" Taylor asked. "That's the problem he didn't say anything." I said.
"What do you mean?" Taylor asked. "Well I might have accidentally hinted that I liked him." I said. "And let me guess. He never texted you back after you told- I mean hinted that I like him." I said. Taylor said. I nodded. Taylor hugged me again "I told you he was all wrong for you." she said while she stopped hugging me.
I didn't want to believe what Taylor was saying about Justin. I mean I loved him. I felt like I was backstabbing him. But he hurt me, and I felt a huge pain in my heart. "Now you see why I warned you about him." Taylor said. 'Yeah Taylor. You warned me and I should have listened.' I thought.
I pulled my phone out of my purse. There were still no texts from Justin. Taylor put her hand on my phone then lowered it down. She took her hand off my phone and I looked at her. "Sel. Face it. He's not going to text you back." she said. I wasn't going to give up on Justin. Not yet at least. "You never know." I said.
Taylor rolled her eyes. Why was she so against me being with Justin? "Wait. Do you like Justin?" I asked. "Ewuh! Gross! No way! He's just a friend!" Taylor yelled. I smiled. "You just said Justin was a friend." I said happily. "I meant acquaintance." Taylor said. I looked back down at my phone. Still no response. 'Please Justin. Text me.' I thought.
"Oh Sel, can I borrow your phone?" Taylor asked. "Did you forget your's?" I asked. "Yeah I forgot it in the excitement of coming to school and telling you the exciting news." Taylor said. I handed Taylor my phone. "I'll give you your phone back at lunch before I tell you the exciting news." Taylor said happily. "See you at lunch." we both said at the same time. Taylor and I both laughed at the same time.
'Wait. What if Justin texts?' I thought. Hopefully Taylor wouldn't text him anything mean. Then again she did call him a friend. Plus Taylor wouldn't do that to me, she was my best friend. Or would she? I had to trust Taylor, but it would be hard knowing that she didn't want me to have nothing to do with Justin.
**Taylor's P.O.V.**
I held Selena's phone in my hands. Why did she want Justin to text her so bad? He was just a guy, I mean she seemed so obsessed with him. Honestly, it wasn't that I disliked Justin. I thought he was sweet and a great guy. He would be perfect for Selena. But that was it, that was the problem. He was too perfect.
Justin seemed like Selena's other half, and that was great for Selena. But if Selena and Justin started going out, what would happen to me? I would be the third wheel of the relationship. I knew I sounded selfish, but I was afraid that Selena would ditch me after her and Justin started dating.
