Yachi opened her eyes, hearing low growls.

"Get away!" Kiyoko yelled as she stabbed the walkers head, splitting it in two.

Yachi quickly got up to her feet, grabbing a bat and smashing the other walkers that were around.

"Yachi! Grab your bag, we're leaving!" Kiyoko demanded and Yachi did just that, grabbing her bag and running.

"How long have they been there!?" Yachi asked.

"Just a couple minutes. Also, keep your voice down." Kiyoko scolded.

Yachi let out a low, frustrated grunt, running ahead of Kiyoko and killing the walkers in front.

"Next time wake me up. Please." Yachi said and looked back at Kiyoko.

Kiyoko nodded and went to the front. "Follow me. I am the one who knows the way after all."

Yachi nodded and followed the tall blackette.

- Time skip -

"How much longer till we get to the camp?" Yachi asked.

"About four more hours. Maybe less."

"Kay."

Yachi had gotten used to Kiyoko pretty quickly, but still didn't trust her fully.

"Do you want to stop or keep walking?" Kiyoko asked.

"Keep walking. I want to get there as soon as possible." Yachi said looking ahead.

"Okay."

The duo continued to walk in silence.

"So... How long have you been in the group?" Yachi asked curiously, trying to start a conversation.

"Five weeks." The taller female answered directly.

"Okay."

"How long have you been traveling?" Kiyoko asked.

"I just started this morning. I haven't been this far away from home ever since the apocalypse hit."

"That long?! Wow..."

Yachi giggled and smiled softly. "Yeah.. It was difficult at first, but I got used to it."

"Then why are out here? Why didn't you stay at your house if you're so used to being there?" Kiyoko asked, jumping down from a small ledge, Yachi doing the same.

"I thought it would be a good time to leave. I didn't want to held captive by my own fears."

"I understand. I was the same, but then I found the people I'm with now and yeah! I'm a lot more brave then I used to be." Kiyoko said and smiled softly.

They continued to walk when Kiyoko realised something. "Looks like I was wrong about how long it would take. We're actually almost there."

"You still don't remember how long it would take you?" Yachi mumbled.

"Hm? Did you say something?"

"No. I didn't." Yachi replied.

Kiyoko nodded and squeezed through some fences they had come upon.

"Why hasn't he fixed this yet?" She mumbled and sighed, waiting for Yachi to go through the fence.

After Yachi squeezed through she looked around at all the traps that were put up.

"That's a lot of traps."

"Better be safe than sorry."

Just then a clicking noise was heard.

"Don't move." A person said. "Kiyoko, who is this?" The person asked. They had a deep voice so Yachi assumed they were male.

"Don't shoot! She wants to join. Well, that's if she wants to now! You're holding the poor girl at gun point!" Kiyoko said, crossing her arms.

"Oh! I didn't know she wanted to join! Sorry Kiyo-chan! But how do you know she isn't part of the other groups?"

"She was traveling alone. You know none of those members travel alone." Kiyoko said, looking kind of annoyed.

"Oh yeah. True." The man said and put his gun down, standing in front of Yachi. "Hey sorry about that. I get on edge sometimes. Anyway my name's
