-- Tendou's POV ((1st person)) --
"Semi Semi!" I said running up to Semi who was in the dinning hall or at least that's what I called it because people seemed to always eat in there. It's more of a big storage room, but oh well.
"I told you not to call me that." Semi replied and continued to eat whatever he was eating.
"Anyway, Semi, wanna go out?" I could see a slight blush appear on Semi's face and I chuckled softly.
"G-go out..?" Semi stuttered.
"Yup! So we can patrol around the perimeter of the base!"
"Oh.. Yeah we can go out. Just wait for me to finish eating." I nodded and waited patiently for Semi to finish up his food. Once he was finished with his food we headed to the armoury, as I like to call it, and we got our weapons and other gear.
"Semi Semi, Do you think the perimeter will be clear or have some walkers?" I asked Semi as we headed out of the camp.
"Probably not a lot like usual." He said and we walked for a bit. We had some interesting and excited conversations, then there was a sound.
"Hey... Semi, did you hear that?"
"Hear what..?" Semi and I looked around and heard groaning. Lots of it. "Walkers..."
I took out my machete and looked at Semi before heading towards the noise. "A... A horde?!" I accidentally yelled and the walkers started coming towards us. We managed to fight off most of them, but that's when it happened.
"AHHHHH!!!!!" Semi screamed at the top of his lungs in pain. I ran over to where he was, killing the walker and helping him up off of the ground.
"C'mon!! If we get away maybe I can help you!" I said, tears threatening to fall.
"No... Please just leave me here.." He said. I ended up taking out my 9×19mm Walther P99, German semi-automatic pistol and shooting the ones that got too close.
"I'm not leaving you so cooperate with me!" I yelled and he still did nothing. This is where I lost it. "Goddamnit Eita fucking cooperate with me so I can fucking help you!!!" With those words he immediately started working with me and we managed to get away to some place relatively safe.
The bite was on his leg and I could easily amputate it off, but he stopped me.
"Semi..? Why?"
"It's not worth it... My death is inevitable.. You should just leave me here."
"That's not happening..." I attempted to cut off his leg again, but yet again he stopped me.
"Why won't you let me help you?!" I snapped.
"Because it's not worth it!! Even if you did amputate my leg there's no way I'd still live! I'd end up bleeding out and dying from that!"
"How do you know?! We haven't even tried it yet! Semi, just please..! Please just let me help you..!" At this point more tears where falling down my face. My vision very blurry.
He shook his head. "N-no..." He then broke out into a coughing fit, coughing up a blood-like substance.
"Semi..." I whispered softly then screamed and hug Semi close crying my eyes out. It was already too late to save him.
"Satori... Do me a favour and stay strong when I go.." I nodded and he smiled softly. He wiped my tears away and hugged me before his body went limp.
"Semi... S-semi..?" I looked down at Semi, his eyes slowly opening showing milky white orbs. They looked lifeless. They were missing that shine that he usually had. I knew what was happening and pulled out my pistol, putting t to his head. "..... G-goodbye... Semi E-Eita... I love you.." I said and shot the bullet straight into his brain, fully killing him.
I stayed there holding him for a little, crying. Once I finally stopped crying and calmed down I walked back to camp, avoiding the horde and being greeted by everyone there who asked what happened and started setting up the fire. Instead of burying the body we've all decided to burn the body and give the ashes to the person who was closest to the recently deceased person. In this case, that'd be me.
"Stay strong... That's what Semi wants. He may not be here physically, but he'll always be in my heart. Forever." I thought, smiling softly, a couple of years falling down my face.
~ Time skip ~
"I'll stay alive for you Semi. I'll make sure that I'll get as much people to live and make sure that I live too. I know that's what you would want." I said, holding onto the small locket of ashes while looking up and closing my eyes. "I'll be strong for you, Semi Eita."
-- Ushijima's POV --
"Tendou seemed to be taking Semi's death pretty well. It's like they both promised something for each other. I could see it in Tendou's eyes." I thought and went over to train with Aone.
-- Iwaizumi's POV --
"Where the fuck are you Tooru..?" I asked quietly to myself, getting quite annoyed. "Gods damnit Tooru..." I stopped and punched a tree. Not the best idea, but at this point I could give less fucks.
"Alright then." I looked around and spotted something. "Blood? Well if it was blood I wouldn't be surprised considering the worlds uncanny predicament." I spoke out loud, yet again. I only do this when I'm nervous or annoyed.
Hours and hours and hours of walking and tripping and killing walkers trying to find this trash child later, I finally decided it was time to give up search for a bit and get some rest.
I found nice shelter and cleared it out before blocking all of the holes, entrances, exists etc so walkers wouldn't get in.
"Why'd you have to leave like that Oikawa..?" I whispered to myself as I sat down and cleaned my tachi* carefully from the walker blood that was on it. After cleaning it a set it down carefully, not bothering to put it back in its sheath. I sighed and sat on the ground, taking deep breaths with my eyes closed. "I swear to gods when I find you I will hit you on the head, Tooru Oikawa. You don't just walk out on a group like that, Trashikawa." I continued to silently swear, trying to calm down, but it didn't really work. I just continued on swearing to myself.
-- ????'s POV --
"He's been bit! You can't ignore that fact so why don't you just shoot him already?!" She yelled.
Everything was just getting darker and more inaudible and blurry.
He was crying his eyes out, along with the others. He wouldn't let me go. "But why? Oh yeah, it's because he loves me? I'm not too sure if he's told me before..." The memories were getting harder to remember by the minute.
I couldn't hear anything at this point do to the explosion from before. "My hearing's gone now I see..."
