Two months have gone by and I haven't seen nor heard from Livia, except through my mom who's seen her nearly every damn day. I was just about to head over to my parents house when there was a knock on my door. Groaning, I walked over and opened it, irritation setting in when I saw Livias brother. "Roman, we need to talk."
"If it's about Livia, I'd rather not, I've screwed that up too much already."
"Well too bad, because it is. She's miserable without you. The two of you need to work this out, and you need to get your head out of your ass, because my sister loves you to death, and we both know that you want a family with her. If you didn't, you wouldn't have gone that night and beat the shit out of Kevin."
I sunk to the couch, "I do love her, but I'm just not ready to start a family. And honestly I don't think she is either, in some respects I think she just wants to replace the one we lost."
"Can you blame her? Finding out that she was pregnant only to get the hell beat out of her, and lose the baby the very same day."
Running my hand through my hair, I stated, "I'm not ready though."
"Will you ever be ready? Or are you just afraid to take that chance with her? Because if you continue to push her away, you'll lose her forever."
"So I guess it's all about what she wants and not what's best for her or me? Fuck this, get out."
"Just think about it."
"I said, get out."
After he left, I sat there tears streaming down my face. Fact is, I do want a family with Livia, I'm just scared to even think about it. What if I do something wrong? What if I hurt her or the baby?
