Turns out one of the bottles was for me, and the other one may have been as well.
It wasn't in my plans to get a tiny bit drunk on the first night but it's a good thing I wasn't.
I was hammered instead.
"whoa!" Bear exclaimed when he came over to me after playing football for a good hour or two.
"yeah, she's pretty drunk," Jared explained as he held me by wrapping my arm around his neck to keep me upright.
"brother!" I exclaim slurring as Bear laughs at my state,
"yeah, okay." He said flatly and then began laughing again, "I can't, it's too funny," he said clutching his stomach in tears.
Bear's frantic laughter began to create a bit of a crowd,
"whoa dude, how much did she drink?" Calvin asked as he patted Jared on his back,
I stood there and greeted all of them with a drunken raise of my free arm and a slurred out some random letters and words than was apparently supposed to make sense.
I stood there for a few seconds before turning my head to Jared, "I thought you were a lightweight?"
"I am... but you drank the beer that I got myself," he said to me,
"oh!" I exclaim loudly, "I remember," I say and nod my head at the sudden realisation.
"your sister is a funny drunk," Bobby said. I was probably the only person who had ever been close to him and drunk; I'm guessing this is the only kind of drunk he knows.
Harry just looked at me slightly swaying and tutted before walking off to play football again. Although it was 11pm, everyone was still full of energy, apart from Marie who finally shut her trap.
Louie trailed over and stood by his brother, "what's up with her?" he asked Calvin as he elbowed his side,
"she's drunk," he said flatly,
"cool!" he said and bobbed his head.
Of course that would be his response.
"more drink," I choke out as my head falls onto Jared's shoulder,
"I'll take her now," Bear said as he pulled my free arm around his neck for support and I unlatched myself from Jared's comfy shoulder.
Bear and I were followed by Louie as he took me to the bathroom to cool off.
"what the heck happened to her?" Blaze asked as we met him on the way to the bathroom. In his hand. He had a can of beer and I really wanted to reach other and drink all of it.
"drunk," Bear sighed,
"alright then," he said and took a swig of his beer,
mmm, beer.
"okay, you go through that door, do what you gotta' do and then come out," he ordered and then I stumbled up the wooden stairs and into the ladies.
Gotta' pee, gotta' pee.
I walked into one of the cubicles and did my business before hobbling over to the sink and looking at the drunken mess in the mirror.
What the hell was I doing?
I washed my hands which was quite a mission considering I had the co-ordination of a toddler when wasted. Eventually, I stumbled out of the ladies to see Bear leaning against the divider between men's and women's toilets. He held his hand out for me to hold when I hobbled down the stairs.

Weekend With The Gods
القصة القصيرةOh, My, God. Outside in the driveway was a beat up, old Volkswagen camper van. It's also blue... And very, VERY bright. Sitting in the driver's seat was our dad, who was gallantly beeping the horn for everyone to hear. I sighed and walked out of the...
