Bear walked over and sat down on the muggy grass before turning his eyes to me and narrowing them,
"what," I asked slyly,
"nothing," he said and then shook his head and looked in the opposite direction,
"Bear, what is it?" I asked again,
"nothing!" he exclaimed going wide eyed and looking at me,
"okay then!" I exclaimed back to him and then leant back in my chair,
Bear sighed and then stood up and walked away.
He knew something.
He only ever went huffy and secretive when he knew something and since I was born, I've always pulled his secrets out of him no matter how good he was at hiding them.
I watched him as he stood up and slumped away back to the tent and zipping the door all the way up.
"what's up with him?" Jared asked me as he nodded in the direction of Bear,
"I don't know," I said as I looked at the tent and then shrugged, "oh well,"
"guys!" Claire shouted and all of our heads bolted round to see her standing there fully dressed with a beach bag.
Wait... a beach bag.
Are we going to the beach?
"okay children-"
"I'm 18," Calvin shouted from the back,
"yet you still act like a child," Claire said back with a grin on her face,
Calvin pulled a strange face and then blushed a little bit causing lots of people to laugh at him, mainly all of us.
"okay guys –and baby Calvin," Claire cooed at him, "we are going to the beach today and due to popular demand from Jared's dad, we will be carpooling! Yay!" she said unenthusiastically, "so hurry up and get ready, it's going to be a beautiful day." She said and then walked off back to her tent.
Everyone spawned off to their own tents and I went to go and tell dad and Bear the plans for today,
"bear, we're going to the beach. Get ready." I called to him, "dad, get up." I called to him as well before going into my tent room and getting ready.
I decided on the only swimming costume I brought with me which was a simple black 2 piece. Over the top, I put on a pair of jeans and an oversized top. The most basic outfit ever for me. I tied my hair up in a ponytail and then I was ready.
Before I left the tent, I grabbed my sunglasses and a towel and then left to meet everyone outside.
Dad handed me the beach bag to put my towel in so when I was done, I handed the bag back to him.
"okay, is everyone ready?" Claire asked as she clapped her hands together,
"yeah,"
"yes,"
"yep,"
and then there was lots of nodding and muttering of the word 'yes'.
"okay then, to the cars!" she exclaimed and then her and her family bundled into their car and everyone else speeded off in the direction of their car and we went into the direction of our campervan. The bright blue campervan.
"I forgot about that," Bear muttered as we turned to look at the van,
"same," I said and then we both followed our dad in the direction of the car.

Historia CortaOh, My, God. Outside in the driveway was a beat up, old Volkswagen camper van. It's also blue... And very, VERY bright. Sitting in the driver's seat was our dad, who was gallantly beeping the horn for everyone to hear. I sighed and walked out of the...
