Absolutely nothing; my first thought kicked in and I ran for the steel baseball bat at the end of her bed, I felt the hairs on the back of my neck and spine rising as I slowly approached the bathroom door, where I heard the slightest whimper. I brace myself and ignore the fluttering of my stomach and the urge to throw up the heart that is beating so rapidly in my chest; scratch that, it is now up my oesophagus... I brace myself for what might be behind the door, and barge in. I look down and their on the floor is Isla, curled up holding her stomach.

'Oh no! She might've been punched and now have internal bleeding! What do I do, I am not a doctor...' I mumble, not realizing I said my frantic thoughts out loud, Isla says,

"I wasn't punched, Skyla, the only thing that hit me was my time of the month, you paranoid dummy." She said through gritted teeth from the pain.

"Well..... I am just going to go now..." I say creeping out of the bathroom and closing the door behind me awkwardly. I quickly creep to our mini fridge and grab our mini pint of ice cream and offer it to her by shoving through a crack in the door with a spoon. She is one grumpy person when she is getting her monthly visit.

As I creep to my first class a tad bit late, mind you because I might've fallen asleep after the whole bathroom debacle, and I noticed that Judas is speaking to the headmaster.

"I know... we have gone over this how many times?... You know I always pull through... I have already conversed with her...Dad I..." Said Judas cutting in and out from how low they were speaking, I could not even hear the headmaster, except for the one line I managed to take from that conversation; which was,

"You need to protect her better! She needs to succeed, or else they are going to... they changed the rules..."

Wait, 'Dad'? 'Protect her' 'she needs to succeed' are they talking about me?! Is Judas' dad the freaking headmaster!? Of course he is, my aunt is probably that Mrs. Delwinger, I still can't believe someone actually married her, maybe she threatened him into it or something, I wouldn't put it past her, *shutter*. My first day she judged me, and questioned me as to why I was here, and who got, 'filth like me in' well all I said was, "back at you" and she never talked to me again, unless it was to correct me about something. After that I remembered why I was here, and how I had to, 'behave'. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means looking for trouble, but I have a lot of pent up anger, and what better way to release it then on the woman (or at least she thinks she is...) who enjoys throwing it back at me? Oh, we can't forget Judas; I have a LOT of questions for him, these past few weeks we have grown a little closer, meaning we only throw insults at each other in every second sentence we say to each other. Progress people, progress.

Lunch is the perfect time to drill him, he will be so busy stuffing his face he won't realize what hit him *evil smirk* well, I like to think it looks evil, but it probably looks like my lips are lost somewhere in my teeth...

On my way to drill Judas, he finds me,

"Let's go, no time to explain. You will know why in a second, unless that constipated look on your face kills me before we get there." Charming as usual *eye roll* I am too mad about his conversation with the Headmaster to respond, so I do not respond.

"I will say this once and once only, I am still a guy, what is wrong?" He says with a grimace, as if it took all of his will power to force out those three words and think about someone else for once.

"What's wrong? What is right?! You are the Headmasters son? Have you only been talking to me because you need to, 'protect me' we-"

"Shut up! Do you want the whole school to know about this?" He practically hisses.

"Why not? What harm will be done? The more that they know, the more chances I have of leaving this place and taking Is-Iris with me!" I screech.

He then ignores me until we reach the isolated part of the school; the ebony zone. It is a completely desolate and empty part of the school, especially after that accident with Jordyn Orlan, which I now know was not an accident; by the way, it was the Ingumm's doing when he failed to 'Guess Who'. Don't worry, he didn't die, but got something far worse than death, the details I do not really know though... I as pulled out of my reverie when I saw the headmaster up ahead, My heart sky rocketed, and my breathing started to get laboured as the adrenaline through my veins kicked in giving me heightened senses. Knowing this I stiffened and got ready to flee, but Judas sensed my hesitation and grabbed onto my arm, and gave me the look that alone ended the adrenaline and left me with nothing but worry, as a million thoughts clouded my brain,

Why did they bring me here? Are they ending the game early, and have just decided to kill me for fun?

Now my panic was really kicking in, and I braced myself for what was to come, as the Headmaster reached into his pocket and drew out a-
