Stacey and I had went out shopping the whole day, going into just about every store in the Mall wether we actually even wanted anything in it or not. We tried on a bunch of sexy bras and panties at Victoria's Secret and Stacey picked out a perfect matching pair for me to wear for Blake to finally 'seal the deal'. The thong was see-through black laced with one satin purple bow on each side, while the bra was mostly dark purple which black lace used as the straps and backing. It was a mega pushup bra and I totally loved it in every single way. The only thing I didn't like, was the price.
"Sixty bucks?!!"
I gasped while turning around the price tag.
"Well… its fifty percent off!"
"Read the fine print."
Stacey leaned in closer to the sign on top of the rack of bras and read out loud.
"Fifty percent off… with a purchase of one hundred dollars. Oh."
"Yeah."
I started to put the bra back on the rack when Stacey took it out of my hands and ripped the tag off.
"What are you--!?!?"
I stopped when I noticed her casually slip it into her purse and realized what she was doing, and lowered my voice to a whisper.
"Stacey, they have this place surrounded with camera's…"
"I doubt they check all their footage Scarlett."
She shrugged her shoulders and walked off towards the checkout line, only buying a tube of lip gloss. She smiled brightly at the checkout lady and we walked out like nothing.
Stacey drove us back to my house so we could get ready to go out for tonight. I knew my brothers would probably be coming home late tonight, and I didn't give a rat's ass what Blake wanted to do. I was going out tonight, wether he liked it or not. Who does he think he is anyways? My babysitter? I'v had those all my life, and I certainly didn't need one now. I was watched enough as it is with my brothers, most of the time.
We walked inside and I scanned around the room for Blake. Luckily he wasn't anywhere in sight, so I guessed he must probably be up in the guest room. After letting out a relived sigh, thinking I was going to be let off the hook for tonight, Stacey and I went up to my room to try on the outfit we had bought for tonight's party.
Stacey laid out her pretty light violet dress on my bed next to my black and Maroon one while I rummaged through my drawers trying to find some matching jewelry to go with our dresses. My hand paused on a set of purple diamond earrings that my dad had given me for my 10th birthday. I passed them to Stacey with anger.
"You can keep those."
She watched me carefully with a frown on her face, then looked down at the earrings in her hand.
"Are you sure? These look expensive."
"I don't want them!"
I snapped at her and watched her reaction carefully, seeing if she got the message or not. She nodded her head slowly and started putting the earrings in. I don't know why I hadn't just decided to throw them out. I was glad that someone could enjoy them anyways, they matched perfectly with Stacey's dress.
I found myself some black hoop earrings and some black bangle bracelets to go with my dress while Stacey applied the finishing touches on her makeup.
We both slipped on our dresses and did each others hair like normally. I decided to go strait tonight, while Stacey curled hers. I glanced at my finished product in the mirror and couldn't help but to smirk at myself. My dress hardly covered my ass. The dress was a V neckline and went off to the sides of my shoulders, making me have to wear a staples bra. I found it funny how a girl at the age of 10 who was always makeup less, wearing a ponytail and not caring what she looked like, and not having a care in the world was the same girl starring back at me in the mirror. A girl who was now numb from the inside out. Fake looking on the outside as she felt on the inside. Putting on this 'I'm a big party girl who loves to have fun' kind of look, trying to fool myself as well as others, making it look like I'm too busy having fun to feel bad about anything. I felt a tear escape from the corner of my eye and watched it as it slowly rolled down my cheek before wiping it away quickly as Stacey came into view in the mirror. She watched me with a frown on her face while I pretended to be fixing a strand of hair.
