Gone too Far

Chapter 4

There was a ring at the doorbell, finally. Blake was almost an hour late, which actually wasn't too bad. It was only 11:00 so the party would just be  beginning to get wild, that was always the best time to come. Louis answered the door while Stacey and I fixed our makeup a bit more in the bathroom mirror one last time. When we came out of the bathroom into the living room we saw Louis and Blake on the couch watching something on MTV. I looked up and down at Blake sitting on the couch. He was hot. Muscular arms popping out of his black shirt, baggy jeans showing off his green boxers, his messy dark hair that just made me want to run my fingers through them. Stacey walked in front of the T.V crossing her arms.

"Lets GO guys!"

The guys got up and we all began slowly walking out the door, but then Tyler showed up.

"You guys going to a party without me? ….. Blake? What the hell are you doing here?" 

Me and Louis exchanged worried glances as we saw Blake stepping forward, hands in his jean pockets. We hadn't brought up the party to Tyler for a reason, and now it was all going to be out in the open. 

"I'm taking your sister to the party with Stacey and Louis."

He said it so calmly, so cool, like it was nothing. I was sure he had no idea who he was talking to. 

"Ahh, Tyler we can talk about this later, we need to go, its getting late."

I Walked over to the door opening it waiting for them to follow me. Blake turned around and started walking towards me, oblivious to Tyler's reddened face and clenched fists. 

"BLAKE!"

Blake turned around slowly, once again facing Tyler, still no fear anywhere on his face, only a bored expression. Either this guy was stupid, or a really good actor. Judging by his looks, maybe he was both. You never really met super hot guys that were ALSO gifted with smartness these days. 

"I need to talk to you … outside."

I could have sworn I saw flames coming out of his mouth with each word he spit out. I didn't want Tyler scaring off the only date I was able to get for tonight.

"Tyler… please. Lets not make a big deal out of this, we're just going to a party together, Louis will be there probably stalking me the whole time, not letting me have any real fun… were mostly going just to get payback on Stacey's scummy boyfriend. Can we go now?"

Louis let out a little chuckle before containing it waiting for Tyler's response. I let out a sigh of relief as he un-clenched his fists and a more normal color was coming back to his face. 

"Fine. Louis, keep an eye on them at ALL times."

He glared at Blake and I standing next to each other. I rolled my eyes and linked my arm into Blake's puling him to the doorway with me in amusement as I saw out of the corner of my eye Tyler getting heated again as we left the house. I could feel Blake's hand fall out of my grip as he opened his car door and scooted into his seat not saying a word to me. Was this guy mad awkward, totally uninterested in me, or was he secretly scared off by my big brother?
