Gone too Far

Chapter 7

"What were you two just doing in here?"

Tyler looked pissed waiting for either of us to answer him, I wasn't sure what to say, tell him truthfully what had happened or make a cover-up story. Couldn't hurt to try the second option first.

"We were just watching a movie."

He glanced over at the T.V, still on pause. Dammit.

"Oh really?"

He asked spaciously crossing his arms.

"Uh, yeah. I paused it to make… popcorn."

"The popcorn thats all over the floor?"

"Yeah, I spilled it and put the movie back on pause so I could pick up the popcorn…"

I bit my lip hoping he wouldn't ask anymore questions.

"Why's both your hair all messed up? And why are you wearing a slutty dress?"

I sighed loudly not being able to answer him. Blake cleared his throat. 

"Well she was going to go out clubbing, I suggested that she should stay home and watch a movie instead."

I looked over at Blake who looked totally relaxed on the couch. I watched Tyler's face soften just a bit with his frown disappearing, still keeping his harsh eyes on Blake. 

"Well thats good… still doesn't explain why your hairs all messed up."

Me and Blake exchanged a quick glance at eachother, I opened my mouth to answer, but Blake beat me to it.

"My hair looks this awesome naturally, and Scarlett's? Well I'm not sure, we were just slouching on the couch maybe it got all like static electricity whatever."

I smirked to myself slightly, not believing how awesomely talented Blake was at excuses. I rolled my eyes and waited for Tyler to un-cross his arms. He looked back and forth again at me and Blake, studying our bored expressions.

"I still think you two were up to something…."

I huffed loudly and let my body collapse onto the couch next to Blake.

"Jesus Tyler, give it a rest! Nothing happened! Can we get back to the movie please?"

Tyler squinted at the screen.

"What are you guys watching?"

"Twilight."

Tyler made a face of disgust and stalked out of the living room, clunking his heavy boots up the stairs. I let out a sigh of relief and pressed play on the remote before looking back at Blake who was now seemed interested in the movie all of a sudden. I squinted at him crossing my arms before he sighed looking in my direction.

"What?"

He glared back at me which made me raise an eyebrow, was he really going to pretend like nothing happened?
