Gone too Far

     The next day was even harder. 

I had slept the entire day away yesterday and missed having to talk to my brothers, but today, there was no avoiding it.  

     I could hear someone walking around the room, pacing back and forth with heavy boots. My eyes wanted so badly to open, but I didn't want to have to face my brothers. I waited for someone in the room to say something, or start up a conversation, but the room was consumed with silence.

"Shouldn't we just wake her up or something?"

Louis's voice spoke up from one of the corners in the room.

I took this time to actually open my eyes and glance over to where I herd the voice coming from.

Louis's eyes connected with mine and he got up from his chair suddenly.

"She's awake."

He stared over at me but didn't move any closer as Tyler started making his way to stand looking down at me from the bottom of my hospital bed.

"How ya feelin' Scar?"

He spoke carefully and softly to me.

"Pretty crappy."

I spoke mono-toned back to him. His actions were part of the reason as to why Brad had gotten so angry in the first place. I didn't blame him per say, but part of me really just wanted to kick him in the face with a heavily spiked boot.

"You know I would say I'm sorry, but I don't know how much that would really help anything thats happened to you."

My eyes looked into his deep brown ones then, as Louis joined his side.

I decided to change the subject before things went too deep.

"Where's Blake?"

I glanced around the room.

"We sent him back home. He needed to get some sleep. But Scarlett, we all really need to have a talk when we get home."

Taking a deep breath I nodded my head knowingly.

"When's that?"

"They're letting you out of the hospital this afternoon."

My throat seemed to close up. I didn't know they'd be letting me out that early.

"Th-th-this afternoon?"

Just then Louis's phone started to go off in his pocket. He took it out to glade at it before sticking it right back in his pocket. Tyler and Louis exchanged a look. 

"Again?"

Tyler asked Louis angrily. Louis nodded his head and they both looked at me.

"Who was that?"

I asked them while frowning.

Louis looked at me and then Tyler.

"You might as well tell her, he's probably been calling Scarlett's phone too. Fucking scumbag."

Louis shoved Tyler over off his balance and glared at him.

"Dad's just trying to get involved in our lives again! He's still our dad Tyler!"
