A few minutes passed that seemed like hours. All I could focus on was the pain in my stomach, and my chest. I wasn't sure the last time I had taken my pain pills, but I desperately needed something. Remembering that I couldn't get up, I grabbed my phone and called Blake's number that he had put in himself while I was in the hospital. I could hear his phone go off in his room a few times before it went silent, and I herd him on the other end of the phone.

"Yes?"

"When can I take more drugs?"

He laughed a little before responding.

"I don't think you should take any more pills for a while… I just gave you some."

"Yeah, but I need more."

"No you don't Scarlett, you know you don't need them. Try to sleep it off."

I huffed loudly into the phone.

"Blake, I'm bored. I don't want to sleep, and I can't do anything."

He sighed and spoke in a mono-toned voice.

"What do you want me to do about it?"

"Well, fuck you then."

I hung up before I could hear his response and waited to see if he would barge into my room. Half an hour passed, and he never did. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I looked at the receiver. I answered it immediately.

"Louis?!"

"Hey Scarlett."

"Where are you? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just wanted to call to apologize for what I said… it wasn't right."

"Its whatever… are you coming home?"

"Well… I'm at dad's place right now, and I met Loraine, she's really not all that bad…"

My stomach flip-flopped inside of me.

"You… you MET her? Louis… -"

I sighed softly into the receiver.

"Listen Scarlett, he really wants us all to get together and talk."

"Louis, I can't talk to you right now. I have to go."

He was right in the middle of saying something when I hung up.

Tears started rolling down my face from the corners of my eyes and I couldn't choke back the sobs any longer. They came out uncontrollably as I put my face in my pillow in attempt to muffle the sounds.

I herd someone walking down the hallway and held my breath as I herd my bedroom door creak open.

"Hey Scarlett?"

"Hmm?"

"What size pizza do you want?"

I was afraid to open my mouth and let the sobs come out, so I just didn't say anything.

"Scarlett?"

He came closer and placed a hand on my shoulder, trying to turn me to face him. I slapped his hand away and buried my face deeper into the pillow while I let a little whimper come out. The bed moved and I could tell he was sitting on my bed, just watching me. He sat there for ten minutes before I lifted my head off the pillow to stare at him in the face.
