I walk through the town, pocketing food that instantly teleports to our pantry. Over the next few days, I keep working, filling the pantry and the storage under the house. When I think it's full enough for now, I snatch some small items that will help with costs. I even manage a few textbooks for Mal to teach the kids with. Someone starts to trail behind me at a distance. I walk faster, trying to lead them off my tail so I can go back to the cabin. When I lose them, I quickly write a note and stick it into my pocket.
I'm walking away when the man who was trailing me picks me up and shoves a bag over my head, tying my hands and feet. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" I scream. "Let me go!" They throw me into something and we start moving. It must be some kind of car. After forever, we stop and they pull me along the ground. I'm thrown into a cold room. "Hey!"

Things have been going pretty good since Audrey started helping me. The kingdom has been running smoothly and sometimes, Audrey will take over while I go out to the enchanted lake. I started a little memory tribute for her there to remember her through until we get her back.
Audrey's trusted me a lot, too. Besides her parents, I'm the only one that she's told about her relationship with Jay. We have an understanding when it comes to finding them. We're finishing up for the day when Evie and Carlos come into the office. "Hey guys," Carlos says.
"We heard there's a new criminal in the prison," Evie starts. "What did this one do?"
Audrey looks at me and then we look back at them. "What new criminal? I didn't even realize there was a prison," Audrey says.
I sigh and look at her. "There's an old prison that we used to house the villains in before we sent them to the isle. I thought it was retired. Guards," I call. One walks in. "Bring the prisoner to the throne room." They nod and walk off.

We sit in the throne room as the guards throw the prisoner in. The man lands hard on the ground before standing up, proud. His mask is torn off and we all gasp. "Jay?!" We scream.
"Guards, send for my parents and Fairy Godmother. Now!" I demand. "And untie this man!"
Audrey runs up and tries to hug Jay but the guards release his hands and he shoves her to the ground. "Jay?" she asks.
"Why are you hugging me?!" he demands.
I look at Evie and Carlos, giving them a sign to stay there. "Your name is Jay," I start.
He snorts and nods. "Duh."
I show a small smile and look at Audrey, helping her to stand and pushing her behind me. "Alright," I say. I think for a minute before slowly taking a step forward. "You've been having memory trouble for the past almost three years, haven't you?" Jay looks unsettled but nods. "You have no reason to trust me, but give me five minutes to prove my case. Please."
He nods, crossing his arms. "Fine."
I smile and turn, waving Evie and Carlos forward. "Evie? Carlos?" he asks. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We'll explain it all later, alright? Right now, what's important is you trust Ben and Audrey. They're our friends. They have been since we came to Auradon from the Isle." He looks hesitant but Evie looks him firm in the eyes. He smirks and nods before pulling Evie and Carlos in for a hug around the neck.
"I could never forget you two," he says. "But what are we doing in Auradon. Did our parents send us here to do something?"
Evie and Carlos laugh. "Yes, but that was settled years ago. We're good now."
