"I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU AGREED TO THIS!" Leah screamed throwing her luggage near the door.

"Baby calm down!" Ava shouted after her carrying the luggage to the car. She heavily regretted agreeing to go see her sister. A week had passed and Leah was still infuriated.

"You're so stupid sometimes babe! I still don't understand why you couldn't have at least asked me first!" Leah got in the car and slammed the door. She was seconds away from just ignoring Ava's existence all together. Ava was actually disappointed in Leah's behavior. She knew Leah didn't exactly like Alexis but she really needed to see her sister. So she confessed her feelings.

"Baby I'm sorry I didn't ask you first. This isn't easy for me either, but she is my twin sister. Some of the only family I have left. She's been closest to me since birth. I need to build a stronger relationship with her."

Leah sighed. Once again her attitude had caught the best of her. "You're right baby I'm sorry. I just become vulnerable when it comes to her. She took advantage of me. She knows too much about me. I bet you she's angry with me. She's sneaky Ava!"

"Babe its been 3 years. Besides she has a family now, I'd bet money she's over you. Just relax." They left to go pick up Dantè first and proceeded to the airport. Their flight was delayed twice but honestly Leah couldn't be happier! The group played games during their wait: Uno, Spades, Heads up, and more. Just about everything they can think of.

Boarding the plan was the hardest for Leah because she felt like she was subjecting herself to more drama. She looked at her fiancé and grabbed her hand. "Baby I trust that you say nothing will happen but if something does... promise me nothing and no one will come in between us. Promise me that we will go back home the way we came... Happy." Leah said fighting tears. Ava squeezed Leah's hand a little and kissed her forehead. "I promise baby." She responded. This couple had unbreakable bond. An unexplainable trust. Leah was confident that their love would conquer all.

They landed that night and after a 7 and half hour flight Leah was ready to crash. They stayed at a hotel the first night, They didn't wanna wake the child up coming into the house so late. It was almost 1:00 am everyone was settled in bed cuddled up when reality hit Ava. She laid on her back staring at the ceiling. "Babe? You up?" she asked Leah. "Barely." Leah responded with her eyes closed. She snuggled up closer to Ava and laid on her chest. "Can't sleep?" she asked Ava.

"No. I'm nervous. I can't believe I'm an aunt. I wonder what her name is? What if she's a tomboy just like I was growing up? What if she thinks I'm ugly or mean?"
Leah couldn't help but laugh even while being half asleep. "Ava you're so adorable when you're worried but baby you have to calm down" Leah said sitting up and looking into her eyes. "She's a little kid. And quite frankly doesn't have very many big opinions yet. I'm sure she'll love you. She'll love us. Just chill out and have fun with her!"

Ava sat up and kissed Leah's forehead. "Okay you're right. Thanks baby!" Ava tried to say confidently but just couldn't. Leah fell fast asleep while Ava faced a restless night. She was laying there over thinking for hours. She had remembered her niece's birthday was coming and wanted to get her something cool.

A toy she wouldn't get bored with quick; something one else would think of buying a 8 year old. Ava got up, got dressed and oddly enough she found a Toys R Us open at 3 in the morning. "This has to be the only 24 hour toy store I have ever seen" Ava thought to herself while parking. Walking in Ava quickly walked to the Girl Toy's section. She wanted to be quick so that Leah doesn't wake up in the middle of the night and see her gone. Her fiancé is crazy, she will assume the worst!

Unfortunately, her original plan faded to black as she worried about the likes and dislikes of a little girl she had never met. This toy would be Ava's first impression! There were so many details that tied into this one gift. She didn't want to do anything too extravagant or too small, she didn't want to get anything cliche but she might not play with something unusual, and she didn't want it to be too expensive but it was either go big or go home! Ava was in the store for almost 2 hours with no sleep.

She wandered the aisles hopelessly, until she came across the perfect gift! It was cute, fun, inexpensive, something different but nothing weird. Ava was finally satisfied. She found a birthday card and a gift bag then headed to check out. She rushed home to find her beauty queen still sound asleep and about 6 hours of sleep to spare. Tomorrow was going to be great!
