Maybe Someday....

Realization

Se Ho just shakes his head while looking at his bestfriend Dong Wook. They've known each other for years now and this is the only time seeing him drinking like there is no tomorrow.

"Wookie ya, can you tell me what's going on. I didn't know we are going to kill ourselves drinking." He shouted at his friend who was still chugging down beer bottle by bottle. In a few minutes he already consumed 8 beers.

"Yaa Wookie hold up okay." He finally was able to snatch the bottle Wong Dook was preparing to drink again.

Dong Wook suddenly sits still, staring into space making Se Ho scared for his friend.

"Come on Wookie, talk to me. What is your problem. This is the first time I've seen you drinking because of a problem." He was getting frustrated. He feels like slapping him back to his senses. He was surprised when Dong Wook suddenly talk.

"I've lost her Se Ho. I've lost my best girl. I've hurt her so much and now I'm hurting so much too." Dong Wook was surprisingly sober when he said those words.

"I don't understand Wookie, I didn't know you had a girlfriend. Did you and Da Hae perhaps get back together? " He had a lot of flings especially during their stint at Roommate. His friend was really handsome and fun to be with that's why all the girls flock him always.

"Mwo? Why would I want to be with Da Hae? It was never love that happened between us before. I'm talking about Ji Hyo." He comb his hair carelessly with his fingers out of frustration.

"Ji Hyo ssi? She's your girlfriend?" Se Ho was so shocked to hear this.

"Pabo! She's not my girlfriend okay. You know how much Ji Hyo means to me as my bestfriend." He explains to the confused Se Ho.

"So what's the problem then. She was your bestfriend I know, although I'm really skeptical about that. First of all you are someone who don't believe in platonic relationship." He did watched his interview a few weeks back saying Ji Hyo was just a girl for him who is a friend but not a girlfriend.

Se Ho is not sure what his friend felt for her but he knows that he cares for her deeply. And seeing how he is wasting himself just now, it seems like he was in love with her for a long time.

"She confessed to me Se Ho but I can't reciprocate her feelings for me. She is my bestfriend." Wookie can't explain it to Se Ho.

" Pabo Wookie ya, I think you love her first. You just can't accept it in your heart. I've seen how you were with her. When she had a boyfriend before, you were constantly checking up on her and even swear to punch the guy after they broke up. You just didn't think you'll have a chance with her that's why you make yourself believe that she was just your bestfriend." Se Ho is like a father explaining what is so damn obvious to his friend.

" But I'm not sure Se Ho, I can't bring myself to change our relationship because I'm scared to lose her. It's better that we are friends forever than to ruin that friendship if things won't work out between us." He was really miserable without her.

"And now you let her go. Are you happy? You're definitely not so why don't you just let yourself love her. Don't try to bury your feelings because it will hurt you more. I don't know what to advise you since only you can make that decision. Whether you want to take a risk with her or risk losing her instead." Se Ho really feels sorry for his friend.

He is a good man and a good friend. He always thought that they look good and feel right for each other but he doesn't want to meddle with his friend's private life.

"I don't know what to do. Even if I do acknowledge what I'm feeling for her, you know I don't have the confidence to date her openly. I can't have a scandal right now. You know how unforgiving our society to celebrities like us." Dong Wook don't know what to do anymore so he just drink more and more until finally he passed out.

"Aish, Eotteoke? Should I call Ji Hyo ssi and tell her about Dong Wook?" He help Wookie to settle in his room first and clean the mess in the living room.

"I'll just try to call her. After all we are also friends." He then decided to call her home.

~Yeoboseyo?~

~ Yeoboseyo, this is Se Ho a friend of Ji Hyo. Can I speak with her? She's not answering her cellphone.~ Se Ho was not sure who answered her phone at home. He knows Seung Ri's voice and he is sure it isn't him.

~ Oh, Se Ho hyung, this is Joong Ki. I'm sorry but noona can't talk right now. She is.... uhm... kind of indispose at the moment.~ Joong Ki was awkward to tell Se Ho knowing he was best buddy with Dong Wook hyung.

~ Did something happen? Is she alright?~

~ Don't worry hyung she just needs rest. I'll look after her until her brother comes back. Are you with Dong Wook ssi?~

Se Ho could sense anger in Joong Ki's voice when he mentions Wookie. He was beginning to get confused to this tangled love story.

~Uhm no Joong Ki ssi. I just feel like saying hi to Ji Hyo ssi. Okay bye.~

"What a mess. If only Dong Wook is man enough to admit his feelings. I hope it won't be too late for him if ever he decided to pursue her." Se Ho thought while staying on Wookie's couch.

Ji Hyo is a very attractive woman and has great personality. He heard so much about her and a lot of guys are interested in her.

"My buddy should pull his ass up or he would lose her to some other lucky guy."
