"What'cha doing?" Taylor asked Tom, leaning on the partition between their seats as she came back from changing into her leggings and tank top for the flight from Los Angeles to Sydney.
"Just reading over some script notes." He replied, smiling at her as he looked up from his notes.
"Oh...okay... Well I'll be behind you." She said, not wanting to disturb him.
The seats on the plane were ridiculously large and their seats were one behind the other, both facing towards the windows as they requested.
"How about you come sit next to me... there's plenty of space for two." Tom said, moving over slightly to make room as Taylor's face lit up, "You can choose a movie to watch."
Taylor sat down, turning on her side and wrapping her arms around his torso as she lay her head on his shoulder, while he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and placed a gentle kiss on the crown of her head.
"Do you want to watch too? I have a headphone splitter thing in my bag." Taylor offered as she chose a movie.
"I'm okay, I'll just read through the rest of these for now." Tom replied, pulling her closer towards him as her attention focused on the movie, barely noticing as he placed kisses on her head every so often, running his hands through her hair as she absentmindedly drew patterns on his chest.
They settled in for the flight, Taylor beginning to drift off as the film progressed and Tom blocking out everything as he became entranced by the script he was reading through in preparation for filming that started in a week.

"Excuse me sir...." The flight attendant said gently to Tom, "Sir?" She said a little louder, rousing him from his trance.
"Oh, sorry.... Yes?" Tom said, looking up at her and smiling.
"The dinner service will be starting soon, so you both need to take your own seats." She said apologetically.
Tom looked down towards Taylor, finding her calmly asleep, before looking back at the flight attendant while biting his lip slightly.
"Is there any way that you could just bring both our dinners here and then she will have hers when she wakes up?" He asked quietly.
"Sorry, but we have a policy that means that everyone needs to be in their own seat during take-off, landing, and meal services." She said, apologetically again.
"Okay, give me a few minutes." He said, sighing slightly and putting his script on the table next to him.
"Of course sir." The flight attendant replied, smiling at him and making her way back to the front of the cabin.
Tom carefully slid off his seat, making sure Taylor remained asleep. He went around to Taylor's seat behind him and made sure the bed was stretched out, with pillows around the top and the blind on the window closed. Next he gently lifted Taylor off his seat and carefully carried her bridal style over to her bed, not noticing the group of female flight attendants watching him and swooning slightly. He made sure she was comfortable, tucking the duvet around her and putting her headphones on to block out noise, before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Sleep well darling." He whispered before standing up and turning back to his seat, chuckling to himself as he caught the flight attendants' eyes and they all scurried away.
--------------------------------------------
Almost 5 hours later Taylor woke up, slightly confused about where she was until she realised she was back in her seat on the plane, a tray of snack foods on the table next to her with a note.
"My darling. I couldn't bear to wake you up for dinner, but the lovely flight attendants provided a snack tray for you to enjoy when you wake up (until they serve more food, as that seems to happen every couple of hours). I hope you slept well. Come and say hello when you wake up. Xx T"
Taylor smiled to herself as she sat her seat up and opened a mini bag of grapes, stretching slightly and wiggling her toes. She slid her headphones off and ran her hand through her hair, flattening it out, and then stood up, walking the couple of steps around to Tom's seat, ready to greet him.
There she found the most peaceful sight. Tom was fast asleep, lying on his side with one arm under his head. She stood for a couple of minutes, just watching him sleep, his face completely crease free and relaxed, before she considered her options. She was still tired, having had a busy weekend, and knew she would sleep if she was next to him.... But she also didn't want to wake him up by accident. She decided to go back to her seat to watch a movie and eat the rest of her snacks, as she was starving, and then see if he was still asleep then to join him.
--------------------------------------------------
"They look so peaceful...." One of the flight attendants said, watching Taylor and Tom lying on his seat completely asleep.
"But we are landing soon..." Another replied, also watching them.
"Okay, I'll wake them up." The first replied, standing straight and walking over to them, "Excuse me, miss? Sir? We will be landing soon."
Taylor opened her eyes and smiled at the flight attendant.
"Thanks! I'll make sure he is awake and I'll go change." Taylor said, feeling very refreshed as the attendant went to wake up some other passengers, "Tom? We are going to be landing soon."
Taylor turned towards him slightly, running her hand up and down his bare arm to wake him up. Tom's eyes opened slowly and he smiled at her sleepily.
"Hello darling!" He said, leaning over slightly to give her a kiss.
"Morning sleepyhead.... I'm going to change." Taylor said, getting up from her seat and blowing him a kiss as she picked up her bag and went towards the bathroom.
While waiting behind for the bathroom, an older lady behind her started talking to her.
"Your husband seems wonderful." She said to Taylor.
"Excuse me?" Taylor said, surprised slightly and confused.
"Oh, sorry... boyfriend? Well anyway he was so kind carrying you back to your seat and making sure you were comfortable.... He's a keeper." She told Taylor, making her blush slightly and smile broadly.
"He sure is." Taylor said, smiling over at Tom, who caught her eye and winked at her, smiling back at her, "He's wonderful."
