Great, Stuck In Their World ~Naruto Story~ Chapter 44

A few minutes after Gai ran off, I started to run after him. Slowly, as I got to the Konoha gates, I realized it wasn’t the best idea to wait until he left. Gai is fast and by now, was probably half way to where Itachi, Naruto and Sasuke were.

I frowned at this.

Did Naruto tell me exactly where they were going…? I tried to think back, I shook my head. He didn’t tell me where…

I doubt I could find it… I clenched my fists. I won’t be able to help! What if… if Itachi hurts Sasuke? Or takes Naruto? No! I can’t let that happen. I must try to find them.

With new determination, I headed off to the nearest small village—which I don’t know the name of—I jumped from tree to tree, searching for any sight of the village.

My foot suddenly slipped from the tree, I gasped for air in surprise. I skillfully, yet spastically grabbed a different tree branch with my hand, saving me from falling. I let out a sigh and continued jumping trees, carefully, this time.

A few minutes of this, I finally spotted the village I was looking for.

Alright, let’s think… come on, Naomi. You’re from America! You’ve watched Naruto over and over again. You know exactly where this is!

Everything from the show was fuzzy to me. I couldn’t remember. I could remember what Itachi looked like, but that’s all… I shut my eyes, trying to picture where they were.

Let’s see… Naruto… a door, there’s Itachi… they’re in a doorway… Where’s Jiraiya at a time like this? Oh, it doesn’t matter. Doorway, doorway, doorway…

It suddenly popped in my mind. They’re in a hotel! I nodded my head to myself and started running to all the hotels in the area. Every hotel I went to, I asked the guy at the front desk if they had seen a little boy with spikey blonde hair and an old man and perhaps a spikey black haired boy a few hours later. Of course, they all had seen Sasuke, only a couple had seen Naru and Jiraiya though.

I ran down a hallway of one of the hotels. Faint sounds of birds chirping met my ears, and I heard a couple of voices along with it.

Naruto… Sasuke!

I ran around the corner and what I saw was Sasuke being kicked across the room by Itachi. Jiraiya, Naruto and… fish man were all standing around. “Sasuke!” Naruto and I shouted and ran towards Sasuke simultaneously.

“Don’t interfere, Naruto!” Naruto stopped in his tracks while I kept running towards him. The fish man swung his sword in my way; I jumped out of the way and continued. Sasuke glared up at me. “Noami… stay away from him!”

Itachi stepped in my way, I ran up to him, throwing a punch his way, which he blocked, and with his other hand, he pulled out a kunai to stab me with.

I frantically tried to rip my hand out of his grasp before he stabbed my hand. I twisted my arm in panic, but it didn’t matter, he was going to stab me. I closed my eyes and waited… when I heard what sounded like metal clashing with metal, I opened my eyes to see that Sasuke had somehow gotten over here and had a kunai in his hand.

Itachi kicked me back across to where Naruto caught me and then he blocked Sasuke’s punch and slapped him all the way across the room once again.

Itachi walked towards Sasuke, Jiraiya tried to move to them, but fish man blocked their way. “You heard him. Let’s just watch them battle it out.” The fish man—Kisame—suggested. Not like we had a choice, he was kind of, you know, blocking the way.

“Bring it on, then!” Sasuke yelled, jumping to Itachi, which Itachi took the opportunity to knee him in the gut. It almost seemed like slow motion as Sasuke bent over and coughed up a handful of blood.
