I yawned and stretched, and fell back on my bed. Today was the summer festival. I had made plans with everyone that we would go as a group again, because I don’t really ever get to see Ryuu, Shan or Ayame.
… Okay, that’s a lie. But so what! I like seeing them.
I walked downstairs and plopped down on the couch, staring at a wall. The more I stared at the wall, the more I started to think; what should I wear tonight? I don’t want to use my kimono from the sakura festival, but I don’t want to spend any more money…
I also don’t want to use the dress that I used for my date with Sasuke. Especially since that was Aya-Chan’s dress… I’m sure I have a dress or kimono somewhere!
I stood up and ran back up to my room, and opened my closet. I just stared, waiting for a kimono to pop out of my closet. Which surprisingly, it did! I spotted two kimonos, a short, red one with long sleeves and a black underskirt, the pattern it had was gold flowers and the obi was black and gold.
And, the other was a plain black one with a white obi and a white fire design on the kimono. I looked back between the two, my fondness for the red one was growing, growing, and growing. Wait a minute—where did I even these kimonos?
“I’d choose the red one.” A smooth voice stated from behind me, I squeaked in surprise and looked behind me, flailing my arms around. Why is he always in my room?!
“Sasuke!” I cried, flailing my arms around even more and pouting a bit. “You scared me…”
He smirked and hugged me, I blinked. Well, this is awkward. I heard him sigh and let go. “I think you’re worse than I am at showing my emotions.”
I frowned. “I am not! You’re just awkward.”
“You’re the awkward one.” He retorted, frowning.
I rolled my eyes and tried to push him out of the room. “Yeah, yeah, whatever… Now, get out so I can change.” I shut the door before he could say anything.
I started to change into the red kimono, because it’s awesome. Wait- did I even need to get dressed yet? I glanced at the clock and saw that it was only nine in the morning… The festival started at seven at night. My eye twitched… why didn’t Sasuke tell me I had ten hours? Maybe because I pushed him out of my room before he could.
Either way, I had to get changed so I could go shopping or… something. Shopping sounds boring; I think I’ll just walk around for a bit. Nodding my head, I grabbed something I’ve never worn. A white long sleeve shirt and a black short skirt, I grabbed a black and white checkered jacket. I stared at the image of me in the mirror. When did I get this?
Maybe I got it when I first came here and went shopping… And it still fits me? What, I didn’t even grow at all in the last seven months?!
I frowned, but shrugged. This jacket is really comfy… I kind of want to wear this all the time. I zipped the jacket up half way and exited my room, closing the door behind me and slowly walked down the stairs. Jumping out the window is a lot quicker.
Sasuke looked over his shoulder at me, and then went back to staring at the wall in front of him—the same one I was staring at earlier. I grinned at that. “Sasuke, I’m going to go for a walk.”
“Can I come with?” He asked, getting up from his seat on the couch.
“No.” I said swiftly, getting ready to dash out of the house.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” He decided on his own, grabbing my hand with his and intertwining his fingers with mine. “Either way I was going to go with you.” He admitted, opening the door.
