Great, Stuck In Their World ~Naruto Story~ Chapter 37

Quietly shutting the fridge, I quickly washed off the strawberries I had grabbed. Looking both ways before making my way across the living room to the stairs, I was on the watch for Sasuke, I had been avoiding him since he had tried to kiss me. I was probably only making it more awkward though.

As I sneaked up the stairs, I ran into something. A small squeak escaped my lips when I noticed it was Sasuke, my face heated up as I continued to stare.

Sasuke stared back, blinking occasionally like any other human being.

How did he know I was up? I was being quiet… why is he up anyway? He should be sleeping or something… except it’s like almost noontime. No wonder…

What should I do? Maybe I’m just being silly and should just have lunch or something.

"Naomi—" Before he could say anything else, a knock on the door cut him off— which I took as my chance to escape.

"Oh, I… I’ll get that!" I exclaimed, stuttering a bit and tripping over my own two feet as I made my way to the door.

When I opened the door, I saw a certain boy I know. "Ryuu!"

"Wanna go get some ramen?" He offered, flashing a grin.

"Yeah!" I replied as I attempted to rush out the door, which was stopped by Ryuu.

"You’re in your pajamas."

I looked down to check and started to blush again. "I’ll be right back…" How did I not see that?

Quickly running up the stairs, I got dressed, did all that, gave a small wave to Sasuke and finally left the house with Ryuu.

As we started to walk, Ryuu turned to me and grinned once again, but didn’t say anything. I glanced at him from the corner of my eye. "What…?"

"You know my sensei, right? Shizuka."

I did small flash backs in my head before coming to the Sakura festival, and how he went with Shizuka. "Yep."

"I’m… interested in her."

"What!" I cried, surprised. "But, Ryuu… she’s like… twenty-two years old! And she’s your sensai, which technically, if you were to follow the US rules, that’s forbidden…"

"Yeah, but this is Konoha. And I’m going to be eighteen in about five months. So it’s okay." He retorted.

"Still…" I protested, frowning. Although, at the same time, it made sense… Shizuka, Ryuu. "So, are you going to tell her?

He shrugged, not answering my question.

After a couple of minutes of him thinking, and just sitting there waiting for our Ramen to come, Ryuu finally spoke up. "So… you and Sasuke, huh."

I sent him a surprised look. "What?"

"Well, it’s obvious. Just like Ayame should be with Naruto… or Neji, I’ll be with Shizuka, Nari should be with Kiba, you and Sasuke should be and Shan… well Shan won’t ever get a girlfriend, he fails like that."

"But… It’s Sasuke. And that’s not nice, I’m certain Shan will get a soulmate one day."

"Eh… nah. And, I know… why’d you choose Sasuke? Out of all people." He teased, I rolled my eyes.

"Hey! You know who should have a collaboration?" I asked excitedly.

"Who…?"

"Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber, come on Ryuu! Its Friday, Friday, Gotta get down on Friday! Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend!" I sung, almost failing at trying to sing this awful song and almost forgetting the lyrics.
