Great, Stuck In Their World ~Naruto Story~ Chapter 41

Ayame’s P.O.V

"Neji-Kun!" I squealed as I opened the door to my room, He smirked. Which made me giggle. He was so cute! I just wanted to hug, cuddle and kiss him all day! Maybe I could sneak Naomi and Sasuke out for a double date with us. I giggled at that thought too. Naomi would kill me… I wonder if they’re dating yet?

"Ready for our date?"

"Of course, Neji-Kun!" I squealed, clinging to his arm. "You look so handsome." I complimented, even though he was wearing the same thing as always.

"Thanks, you look beautiful." I blushed and smiled.

"Aww." I stopped walking and he did, too. I stood on my tiptoes to kiss him. "You’re so sweet."

"I know." He said with a smirk, I rolled my eyes, I couldn’t help but smile bigger though.

We started walking again to the restaurant that Neji was taking me to, to be honest… I’m kind of nervous. I really care for Neji, and I don’t want to mess it up.

However… I am Tanaka Ayame, right? Right! A little date should be no problem! Pfft, in fact, it’s nothing.

After that small pep talk all the nervousness I had been feeling went away, and I was confident again.

After about a five-minute walk we ended up at the restaurant and the waitress showed us our seats, which was outside. The grass was a bit damp, which felt nice, but it also kind of itched. There were lights strung above us, every light consisted of a different color. There were other couples here, too. The table was a nice wooden table, a table cloth covered most of it. There was also a candle and a rose in a glass filled with water on the table, making it even more beautiful.

"This is amazing." I squealed in awe at the sight.

"You’re amazing." He retorted.

"That’s corny, idiot." I mumbled, hiding my face in my palm and turning my head away.

Neji chuckled. "Ayame," I lifted my head to show I was paying attention, a curious look on my face. "I really like you."

"Neji-kun… I like you, too!" I reached my hand across the table and placed it on top of his hand. "I really do." We smiled at each other. I think I could get use to this…

The waitress came with our food, which Neji had ordered when I had observing everything. "I hope you two enjoy."

"Thanks!" I chirped as Neji nodded his head.

Shan’s P.O.V

After throwing my last shurikan, I fell to the ground in exhaustion. After an hour of training with Nobu, and an hour of training by myself, I was already out of energy. I crossed my arms over my eyes, blocking the sun. I breathed in, which only ended up making me cough.

I gritted my teeth in aggravation. I was so weak compared to Ryuu… I want to be stronger than him; I need to be stronger than him.

I clenched my hands, forming a fist. I just… I don’t know.

"Shan!" I heard someone call out; I glanced over to where I heard the voice.

Surprised by who it was, my heart nearly leaped out of my chest. "Tenten," We smiled at each other. "What’re you doing here?" I questioned; she giggled and pushed her fingers together like Hinata does usually.

"Well, I wanted to know if you wanted to go out to dinner with me…" She told me, a small blush forming on her cheeks.

"Sure, Tenten." I sat up and pushed myself to my feet. "Let me just go home real quick to change." I announced, now noticing that she was wearing a summer kimono like thing—summer kimono as in it had no sleeves and ended above her knees—it had a sakura blossom pattern to it and it was white and pink.
