Lisa's POV
The man wasn't in the room. The bed was rumpled as if the owner of the bed had abruptly left it. Everyone was standing in shock until Minhyuk's phone rang, which rung us out of our shock.
"Sorry! I'll be back soon," Minhyuk called as he left the room.
After Minhyuk left, everyone else except for Harry and me had left to ask around the hospital if anyone had spotted the man. I sat down and stretched, and while I was in the midst of yawning-it had been a long day- I spotted a sheet of paper with unbearably messy handwriting on the table next to the bed.
Kennedy's POV
We had split up into teams, but after about half an hour of searching and asking, we met together with no info about the whereabouts of the man. The only information we managed to receive from his nurse was that the last time she saw him, which was in his room, was just two hours ago. As we were trudging back to meet up with Harry and Lisa, Yonghwa was trying to lift the mood, which I highly admired.
"You know, this is kinda like a mystery calling for us to solve it. It'll be lots of fun since we can work together to solve a real mystery, unlike the mystery games that we used to play when we were kids!" he exclaimed.
Sooner or later, we finally arrived at the room to find Harry and Lisa bent over a sheet of paper, puzzled.
"Hey, we're back," I said. They jumped up as if they hadn't noticed us come in.
"Hey, did you guys find anything?" Harry asked.
"Not really. All we got is that his nurse had seen him two hours ago in here. What about you guys?" Kennedy asked.
"This." Harry lifted up the sheet that he and Lisa had been pouring over.
"What is it?" Lucy asked.
"That's what we're hoping you guys would be able to figure out. Lisa and I had been trying to solve this ever since you guys were gone. Right when you guys left, Lisa found the note on the table," Lisa said.
We all gathered around to see the note, and some of us took pictures of it since there wasn't enough room for all of us to read it.
"Harry and I think it's a riddle, but we're trying to figure out what it means," Lisa stated after we had all finished reading it.

Minhyuk's POV
I felt bad that I suddenly had to leave at a crucial moment, but it was my dad who called.
"Minhyuk, are you alone?"
"Yeah, why?" I started to have a bad feeling about this conversation.
There was a long pause until he uttered the words that left me breathless.
"Minhyuk, your mom has cancer."
Hey guys, sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long, but I hope that you guys enjoyed this update.
