So about two weeks after i got her i went out to go feed her and was going try and proper lunge her. when i went out i noticed she was lifting her left front hoof weird and pawing the air. I went to catch her and i saw there was blood all over her legs mainly her left front hoof. scared i ran to my mom who was in the trailer making her feed. i ran and told her. she told me to calm down and go get her calmly. i did and she limped horribly, i then noticed that the horses from the pen beside her were in her pen. my mom called my dad to bring cloths out and gave me some water to wash it out with. i was very long! going from one side of the hoof all the way across to the other side of the hoof. thankfully it wasn't to to deep. But it was pretty wide. My mom also called my riding instructor and sister. she took pictures and sent them to them while i cleaned up the cut from all the mud that was all around and in it with some cold water. there was blood everywhere and while my dad hooked up the trailer my mom called my aunt to help load her because she was hard to load according to my sister and dad. so my aunt finally got there and we got her loaded at ten o'clock at night. we headed to where we had chester at the moment and waited for my sister who was picking things up from a new vet where she lived. she got there at ten forty five. she cleaned the wound and wrapped it and we put her in a stall. she was off the the vet the next day.
