Ok so I noticed I forgot to write this one but on the same day i rode espie for the first time i also ground lunged her for the first time. my trainer did it first to get her and me used to doing it but yeah it went pretty good we are using a western saddle for now until my trainer thinks she is good to go with out ground lunging then i will continue with my english saddle on her from there on. i am also really nervous because my
4-H starts in September and she's still very very green and i am not allowed to do a young horse project yet because i don't have my level three so I'm scared because i am supposed to be able to canter her nicely by next June and i feel like i am judged if I'm not able to canter so i don't know what I am going to do. i mean maybe i will be able to do the things i want to do by June but i don't know she has such little experience with being ridden the way i ride that i guess I will see whats it like. but yeah ground lunging is going amazing and she is actually being pretty good with all this new stuff we are teaching her so yeah hope that it goes good.
