So on july 28 i had a lesson with espie. we put my western saddle on her and we did some lunging then i learned something new and very important. how to ground drive a horse. this was the first time i had never ground driven a horse until that day. it actually went really well she is a nice sweet mare that is really calm and relaxed at all times. so after we did lots of ground driving and lunging i actually got on her. so with the help of my trainer she helped me get on her and we did a little bit of walking around with me starting to teach her my leg cues and rein cues. it went actually really really well for the first time i have ever rode her.
