ALEXIS POV:

It's been one day since Drake rejected me and now I just want to die. <\3 I feel like someone stabbed me in the heart, and there is something on my chest bothering me.

I don't feel like going to school today and seeing people..and Drake. How awkward it's going to be.

I went downstairs and saw my mom in the kitchen. "GoodMorning." I said to her. She kissed my forehead, "Morning, sweetie."

"Can I...stay home today?" I asked her politely. "Why?" she asked.

"Because, I'm tired..please?" I answered. She sat next to me on the kitchen table and smiled, "you're going."

You can't win with mom, so there is no use trying to argue back. I sighed and went upstairs to get ready.

I'm not even going to bother looking cute today. It doesn't matter and I have no one to impress.

I put my hair in a loose, ponytail and sat on the couch to wait for Kyle.

"Woah, you got ready fast." Kyle told me. I shrugged, "let's just go."

We got in the car and drove to Drake's house. They gave each other that stupid man hug. I looked on the ground to avoid the awkwardness until I felt someone staring at me, so I had to look up.

"Hey, Alexis." Drake said.

"Uh, hi." I said.

"Alexis, be nice." Kyle told me.

I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. I kinda hate Drake now, but I don't hate him. It's confusing.

Kyle turned on the radio so loud.

"All I want for my birthday, is a big boo--." Kyle rapped.

"Turn the music down, please. I don't want to hear that at 7:00 in the morning!" I complained.

Kyle turned the music down and Drake looked at me again. I rolled my eyes at him and went on my phone.

"Hey, Alexis, did you do the English homework?" Drake asked me.

"Yes." I answered.

"Wasn't it hard?" Drake said.

"No." I responded.

He turned around and went on his phone too. Yes, I know, I'm being a bitch. But he's the one who made me cry for like 4 hours!

Drake's POV:

I tried to start a conversation with Alexis today, but she completely ignored it. She didn't blush, or stutter or smile. Man, I must've really hurt her a lot.

When we reached school, we all walked in together. As always, Kyle went off kissing a girl and Alexis was going to her locker.

I grabbed her arm, "Alexis, wait, we need to talk."

"What?" she asked me in a rude tone.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay? I never meant to hurt you. You're like my little sister and I don't want to hurt you at all. Let's just forget about this, okay? I'll pretend it didn't happen and you too." I told her.

A tear fell down her face and she walked away.

Alexis POV:

I can't believe Drake said that to me. He just had to bring it up! I walked over to my locker in tears.

"Lexi! What happen?!" Chloe rushed to me.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I assured her.

"No, you aren't. Please tell me." she pleaded.

I wiped a tear from my face and shook my head. "Drake rejected me yesterday."

Chloe's mouth dropped. "I'm so sorry, girl." she hugged me and I hugged back.

I shrugged and went into the girls bathroom.
