"Get off me, D" I yelled at the person.
He took off his mask. It was Demarcus. "You knew?" His deep voice rang in my ear.
"You can't fool me, dummy" I smirked. "And that hoe in the front seat, is my sorry ass husband!" I yelled.
He pulled the car over and turned to look back at me. "I'm the sorry ass?" He yelled. "You're the pain in the ass. I been tryna help you!"
"By doing what, kidnapping me? And where the hell are we going?"
"I'm taking you to the therapist" he said and turned back around and started the car.

I really didn't want to go and I wasn't going to. I opened the car door and walked. I didn't have shoes but I didn't care. "Chrisandra!" I heard someone yell but I didn't look back. I walked in the direction of my house. David got out and walked up next to me. "Come on your being a child"
"I'm not going"
"Why?" He yelled. He grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Your not doing well and I wanna help you! Let me help you! Let me help my wife!" He yelled.
"Nothing's wrong with me! I'm not crazy, I don't need help!" I pushed him off of me.
"No" he sighed. "I'm not saying... I didn't mean that your crazy. I'm saying-"
"I know what your saying" I cut him off. I walked back to the car and sat in the back seat. He got in the drivers and started driving. I closed my eyes and waited to get there.

I walked into the therapists office and I saw someone I recognized but I couldn't see his face because he was turned around. "Come in" I walked in and stood by the door. He turned around and his face lit up. "Mrs. Young"
"Hi" I say, not so thrilled to see him or be here.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here"
"I wasn't either" I fake smiled. "Where's the old lady that is usually here?" I asked pointing toward the seat.
"She, uh is sick"
"Ok" I sighed.
"You can take a seat" he sat down. I sat in the chair across from him. "So why are you here?"
"Just chillin" I said not really feeling comfortable telling him things.
"You can trust me" I raised my eyebrow. "What?" He laughed.
"You're my client"
"And now you're mine so start talking"
I sighed not knowing if I should. "I- uh, been having these dreams"
"What happens?"
I scratch my head. "I'm back in high school"
"What happened in high school?"
I stood up. "Mrs. Watkins already knows all this stuff, I'll just come back another time"
"No" he stood up. "We still have 30 minutes"
"It's fine" I smiled. "I'll see you around"

I walked out the door and closed it behind me. I walked out of the building and back to the car.
"How'd it go? That was quick" Demarcus asked.
"Fine, lets just go" I got in the back seat and David started the car.
When we got home. I got out the car and waved to Demarcus.
"I don't get a hug?" He walked toward me with his arms out.
"No! You're not my favorite anymore" I laughed but I gave him a hug anyway. "Bye" I said and want into the house. I walked upstairs and got in the shower.

When I was done I walked into the bedroom with the towel wrapped around my body. David was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. When he saw me he looked up.

"I'm sorry" he started. "I shouldn't have done what I did. Tryna pressure you into doing something you didn't want to do. I just thought I was helping"
I was quiet. "I know" I said after a while.
He stood up and kept talking. "And there's nothing wrong with you, baby. I was just saying it's not ok for you to be scared, and if you are you gotta say something to me, so I can protect you. I know you don't like asking for help but I can't loose you. You're gonna be the mother of my children one day and I need you to watch them when I go out" We both laughed. "I love you" he finally said. He walked over to me and hugged me tight. "I love you, too" I whispered.

He is right about everything. I just don't want him to worry about me, I may not look it but I can take care of myself, and that's just what imma have to do.
