Blake
"Hey, Chief Big Foot, keep it quiet!" My mother hushed as the three of us snuck around the kitchen.
Today was Friday, and it was also Alex's eighteenth birthday.
It's been a tradition in the Parker-Grey house since we moved in to throw a surprise birthday breakfast. Well, it's not so much as a surprise now.
"Why don't you go wake up Alex," Mom said, placing the massive stack of pancakes down onto the table, "But remember to blind fold him!"
Grabbing the tie that Ethan handed me I giggled and raced upstairs, still dressed in my pyjamas.
I loved surprises so much, they always got me hyped.
Tip-toeing up the stairs, I headed for Alex's room.
I made sure he was asleep before I went downstairs earlier this morning. He didn't have early football practice this morning, which was good.
Pushing his door open, I peeked in.
He was lying on his bed, an arm over his eyes to block out the sun peeking through his slightly open blinds.
And he was shirtless.
His dark grey covers lay low on his hips, the sign on his underwear and shorts poking out. His golden skin was shimmering in the morning light that slanted over every bulge.
I crept in, slowly edging towards his bed.
"Morning!" I scream, jumping on to his bed.
I straddle him, quickly and push my hands down on to his shoulders, keeping him down.
His blue eyes wrenched open as he hissed, his hands gripping onto my hips. My smile then faded, when I realised how intimate this position was.
"Blake," He groaned, his blue eyes lighting me on fire, "What are you—"
"Ah-ah" I awkwardly laugh, wrapping the stripped tie around his eyes, "Happy Birthday."
I wiggled as I laugh, causing him to groan when I accidentally hit the bump between my legs. Gah, why the fucking hell am I always making situations. Fuck my motherfuking life.
"Let's go," I mutter, awkwardly slipping off the bed. I grabbed his hands, and hauled him out of bed, "Why the fuck are you so damn heavy!" I laughed, trying to lighten up the mood.
Alex chuckled, and tried to flop back on to the bed and I had to pull harder, "Loose some damn weight!"
Laughing, I pushed him in front of me and held onto his shoulders.
"If you knock me into anything, their will be a price to pay," I could hear his threat with a smile.
"Ooh, I'm absolutely shaking with fear," I sarcastically drawled, "And I promise I won't."
And at the exact moment he said that, I accidentally turned him and he face-palmed a wall.
"Starting now."
We finally made it to the kitchen without bumping Alex into anything, well mostly. We were laughing as I pushed him into the kitchen.
I reached up and untied the tie, slipping it from his eyes.
"Surprise!" Mom, Ethan and myself yelled in unison. I skipped around Alex, just as my mom snapped a picture of him.
"There," She smiled, looking into the camera, "Now hurry up and eat before it gets cold."
All four of us sat at the table. Ethan and Alex had pancakes, while my mother and I had a tropical fruit salad. I could feel Alex's eyes on me, and goosebumps sprouted on my arms.
"So," Ethan started, cutting into his pancakes, "What do you want for your birthday breakfast, Blake?"
I took a massive bite of fresh watermelon, "Cake."
"For breakfast?" Mom, my very own personal health nut, gasped.
"When else?" I smirk, hiding it by taking a spoon full of fruit and stuffing it into my mouth.
I catch Alex's laughing eyes from across the table, he was still looking at me, I had I no idea why.
Suddenly, the door bursts open.
"Yo! Yo! Yo!" Hunter's voice booms from the front, "Hunter in the house!"
I take another spoonful and get up off the chair at the same time Hunter strolls into the kitchen.
"There's the birthday bro!" Hunter cheers, pointing at Alex.
"Morning, Hunter."
"Mr and Mrs Parker-Grey." Hunter nods his head curtly, before taking my seat and finishing off my breakfast.
"Well, I need to get ready for school." I smile, catching Alex's confused stare, before racing upstairs to my room.
I jump in the shower quickly and wash off the night, before getting ready for school. It was going to be a hot friday, so I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail.
Grabbing my phone, bag and sunglasses, I raced downstairs.
"Hey, do you need a ride, Blake?" Alex asked as I stumbled into the kitchen, my eyes glued to my phone.
I looked up, seeing him lent over the sink, shirtless. I could get use to this sight.
"Um-Uh-Um," I spluttered before taking a deep breath, "Actually, Ella's giving me a ride. Thanks for the offer."
"Anytim—"
Ella's beeping horn echoed from outside.
"Well, see ya." I wave, before racing out the door.
