The next week is worse than ever as Robin's parents obsereve everything she eats with a microscope and patience. Hiding the fact that she can't begin to swallow food has become nearly impossible, and the fact that her real dad is getting married still hasn't stopped pestering her. The feeling like she's going to faint comes atleast three times a day now, and she's already passed out twice in three days.
"I don't understand why he won't just make it official." Lauren says painting her toenails on Robin's bed. They had all stayed the night and were surprised by th eneormous size of the building.
"Because he doesn't want Megan to start picking on me." Anya replies.
"Yea well I think he's embarrassed that to be liking a sophmore, you guys have only been on dates to the most isolated places so far."
"Lauren! You can't just say that, don't you think Anya knows it." Jung Hee says from where she sits rotaing around in Robin's desk chair.
"Sorry."
"It's okay, he did ask me to Monica's party though, so hopefully we'll become official then." She mutters.
"Speaking of Monica's party, you guys do know it's tomorrow, we need to go shopping for party dresses!" Robin says.
"My mom can be here in like twenty minutes to take us." They get their stuff together and Lauren's mom drops them off at the mall. Rating guys as they walk through the stores, they settle on a cute shop with short dresses.
"Anya, this would look amazing on you!" Jung Hee sasys picking up a short off shoulder light pink dress. She tries it on and comes out looking amazing, one sleeve is long sleeve and the other is non-existent, plus the dress fits her like a glove.
"PAARRTAAYYY!!"" they all yell then do a little jig in the middle of the store.
Robin spots a short white dress with a lace pattern covering it and tries it on too. Coming out of the dressing room she turns around in a circle and her friends all crowd around her ooing.
"Robin! Since when did you get so skinny?" Lauren asks.
"You are practically Anya sized, but shorter!"
"Why thank ya." She says in a southern drawl and courtseys for affect.
"I think I'll get it." she says heading back into the dressing room. Jung Hee tries on a tight black dress and buys a pair of red pumps to go with it.
"Oh boy." Lauren mutters as she's holding a teal dress in her hand.
"What?"
"See that kid right there." Lauren says pointing to a crowd of people.
"The blond hottie in the midst of that crowd of dudes?" Jung Hee says.
"Sure...that's Tyson, he's on the guys gymnastics team and thinks he's all that and a bag of chips. Don't let him see me or we'll all be sorry."
Trying there best to hide their petite friend, Lauren goes into the dressing room and comes out with the dresso on.Twirling she admires the poofyness and jumps up and down glad she's found the right dress.
"Fancy seeing you here Lauren." Says a vocie right behind her.
"Oh hey Tyson."
"You look down right sexy in that dress." he says leaning against a rack of clothes, whilst running a hand through his golden locks.
"I know." she replies bluntly.
"No comlplements in return?" She stares at him boredly.
"No huh? Well listen to this." He says dragging Lauren by the elbow to a corner of the store. The group of guys that were around Tyson come into the store and flirt with the girls. And Anya hits it off with one kid in particular. He's from Russia too and just joined their team for the coach, they talk about some of the things they miss back home. Lauren and Tyson come back, one much happier than the other and the groups decide to combine for the day.
