"Four years, Dean!" Adam shouted at his half-brother, "You got Sam out, but left me!" He had never met you before, so you listened from your room. You were starting to get worried. Your friends, Sam and Dean, were being shouted at, by, an admittingly hot, younger half-brother. You decided to check in on them.
You knocked on the door separating your rooms.
"Who the hell is that?" Adam stared sternly at the door.
"It's a friend. She's been hunting with us for awhile." Sam answered before opening the door.
"Y/n, Adam, Adam, y/n." Dean said, hastily going through introductions. Adam stared at you, profoundly confused. Your eyes flickered between him and his brothers. He was around your age, and like his brothers, absolutely stunning.
"I, uh, just came to make sure I wouldn't be covering up any more questionable deaths." You said tensely, despite it being a joke. Sam chuckled.
"Not yet, at least." He said, still laughing. His laugh was contagious, and you joined in. Apparently your laugh was more contagious than Sam's because Dean was now laughing, and Adam had desperately tried stifling a laugh, but ended up giving in. After the giggling was over, you could see the hurt in Adam's eyes whenever he looked at his brothers. They left him in hell. Literally.
"You okay, Adam?" You finally chirped. He grew very confused, no one had even bothered to ask him. His eyes started blanketing with tears. The brothers had no clue what to do. They looked at you. You stepped forward, and pulled Adam in a tight hug. His eyes widened. You rubbed little circles into his upper back. Eventually he relaxed and hugged you back, his hands placed at the small of your back.
"Listen, Sam and Dean are idiots, but they care. Okay?" You whispered into his ear lightly, and he nodded. You pulled away, still holding onto him.
"You going to be okay?" You asked with a light smile. His eyes swept over your face. He nodded.
"I think I am. Thanks." He matched your smile.
"Anytime." You separated. You were going to go back to your hotel room, but something stopped you.
"Hey, if you ever need someone to talk to," you tossed him the spare key to your room, "I'm just on the other side of this door." He looked down at the key, and you shut the door. You went back to researching for the hunt. Eventually you had fallen asleep at the table in your room. When you woke up, Adam was fighting with Dean. Adam was insisting on joining them for the hunt, Dean refused. You quickly got ready, and walked into their room.
"If she says I shouldn't come, I'll stay, but otherwise, lay off!" He pointed to you, and you had no idea what to say.
"Uh, what?" Your eyes were wide. He hadn't listened to Sam, Dean, or Cas. Why would he listen to you?
"I-I mean, I don't know. We don't even know what it is yet..." You started thinking. Then it came to you.
"Wait a minute, hold on." Your face brightened up as you realized what it might be. Distrust. That's what gave it away. You ran back to your room, and flipped through the book pages, Adam and Dean followed.
"Aha!" You held up the book, "Gorgons; Euryale and Medusa! That's why it didn't make sense, Dean! We assumed it was one monster! It's two!" Dean looked at the book.
"What made you think of this?" He said, face filled with confusion as he looked at you.
"Uh, familiarity? Medusa was left on Calypso's island, while Euryale  had saved Sthenno! Medusa and Euryale are fighting! That's what this is!" Your eyes lit up, you had loved Greek mythology.
"Okay, how do we kill them?" Dean asked.
"Unless you want to be turned to stone, you can't. We need a distraction. But, I think Adam should join this one." You smiled.
"Y/n, what are you thinking?" Sam asked, stepping into the room.
"I'm thinking we need a distraction, and Adam and Dean here, should do quite nicely." You smirked, Adam and Dean looked at each other, clearly puzzled.

"I don't trust you Dean!" Adam yelled. He had been with you guys for a year, and still he fought with his brothers.
"Then who do you trust? Y/n? Over your own blood?" Your cheeks grew rosy. You liked Adam, but being a Winchester, he'd probably never like you back. You were like his sister, yet he trusted you with his life. He didn't trust Sam, Dean, or even Cas with his pencil.
"Yeah, Dean, I do!" He shouted back. You could hear how hurt Dean was. You stepped into the room where the fighting brothers were.
"Can you two calm down?" You asked.
"He started it!" Adam said. You smiled and rolled your eyes.
"Sorry, Adam, but I don't care. You two, need to be separated." Adam grabbed his jacket.
"Fine by me." He snapped, exiting the motel room. Dean went to go after him, and you moved between him and the door, stopping him.
"I think I should handle this." He nodded, and sat down. You went after Adam. You found him sitting in front of your hotel room door. You sat next to him.
"I know what happened. I know you feel betrayed, but trust me, Sam and Dean are good people. They'd never let anything happen to you if they could stop it!" You swore. He looked at you, and gave a half hearted smile. You looked into those eyes, and that was the tip of the iceberg. Slowly, but surely, you had been falling for Adam, and now, you were in love with him. He raised a hand to your cheek.
"I'll always trust you." He said, before leaning in and kissing you. You sat rigid, for a moment, unsure what to do, but you relaxed and put your arms around his neck. You started moving in synch with Adam. You felt headlights pull up. You didn't really care, assuming it was a random hotel guest. That changed when you opened your eyes to see your mustang, the same one Sam borrowed, right in front of you.
"Uh, y/n? Adam? What the hell are you doing?" Dean heard the commotion, and went to see Sam, confused at why Sam was staring at you. You stood up, and Adam followed. He shrugged when you looked at him. He turned you so you were facing him. Without warning he smashed his lips against yours. You repeated your previous actions.
"Seriously, dude?" Dean questioned, "You literally could've just said you liked her, and that would have been just fine!" Sam and Dean left you two alone.
"I love you!" You blurted out, instantly regretting it. Adam and you sat in silence. He laughed, and your heart sank.
"I hope you realize I love you way more!" He finally said, and you looked up to him. He smiled at you again.
"I know."
