The reader becomes an angel, and the other angels train them. Gotta say, interesting idea, AWESOME prompt.

"Cas, what the hell do you mean y/n is an ANGEL?!" Dean hissed at Castiel as you waited quietly in the background. An angel... you? You didn't even know how to be an angel!
"I mean y/n is now a celestial being, currently inhabiting her own vessel-" Dean groaned, while Sam flipped yet another freaking book page. From what Sam could see, there was no lore to support this- whatever this was, but Castiel said you were an angel. They just didn't understand how, and neither did you, for that matter.
"I know what you mean Cas. She's got wings and a halo!" Cas went to speak, but Dean didn't let him get as far as to answer, "Don't, Cas. I get it. She's not human now, or whatever. What the hell do we do about it?!" You looked down at your hands resting in your lap. Too many voices. That's all there was... other angels chattering on 'angel radio' and you couldn't turn it off. It was so, so, frustrating! Suddenly, Dean's bear bottle imploded, scattering glass around everywhere. For a moment, all eyes were on the shattered bottle, the next they were on you. The faint fluttering of wings- eight pairs- and a faint chuckle with also a small grumble.
"We train her, you knuckle-heads." Gabriel grinned behind them, popping a lollipop back into his mouth. Everyone turned to the angel that- admittedly looks much different outside his vessel. So did the one next to him, Lucifer. No kidding.... really was a gorgeous angel. Only his wings were basically a blackened shell of what you could only assume was once beautiful and intricate ivory and pure white feathers. You looked at them with wide eyes, then back at Castiel, who seemed reserved to the idea.
"It's been eons since either of you have trained an angel..." He started, earning an eye roll from Lucifer as he crossed his arms, and glowered. Not at anywhere in particular- just glowered.
"Exactly why I didn't want to come in the first place," Lucifer grumbled, causing your voice to catch in your throat, "who even says they're worthy of becoming an angel? They were human. Flawed, disgusting-" he began to spat more insults, but Gabriel cut him off with a sharp glare, and a slap of a wing. It was quite funny, actually, and Dean looked at you like you were insane when you began giggling uncontrollably. Gabriel smirked at your amusement, sending you a quick wink, before he realized how loud it was inside your head.
"Come on, sweets, you didn't even ask Cassie how to turn it down in there?" You blushed deeply as you looked back to your hands, and Castiel looked to you, non-expressive as always.
"I-I didn't want to bother him..." You admitted quietly, causing a few audible groans, mostly from the drama-queen archangel, aka Lucifer.
"So, brother dearest, want to train an angel?" Gabriel nudged Lucifer playfully, and you looked up at them with hopeful eyes. A few seconds of silence passed, before a theatric sigh escaped his lips.
"Fine."

Before you knew it, you were back outside, and Gabriel was trying to explain how to use your wings. You had many questions, but you'd wait until Gabriel finished his lesson on it.
"Got it?" He asked after a way-too-fat explanation. You stared at him with a jaw so slack you were surprised it hadn't unhinged. He simply grinned back.
"Good. Now, watch me." It used to look like they just disappeared, but you could actually see the archangel move his four wings in a quick motion, and soon, he was off at rocket speeds. Was it possible for you to pale anymore than you were? No. Not at all.
He was back just as quick as he'd gone, "Okay, your turn." Oh chuck, this was going to be bad. Doing your best to replicate what Gabriel had done, you lifted into the air, but then you realized you had no idea where you were going. That's when you hit the ground again. Only, with your face this time. Lucifer snickered in amusement, and even Gabriel chuckled. Castiel eventually cut them off with a cold glare, and helped you up.
"Perhaps we should get Balthazar." He suggested. Lucifer raised a skeptical eyebrow, while Gabriel just furrowed his.
"W-Why?" You were lost, to say the least. You looked between the three, confused beyond all belief. In a flash, Castiel was gone, and in another, he was back... with Balthazar.
"Well, hello, Darling." He greeted with little motion, other than smart-arsedness. Lucifer grunted irritably and Gabriel sighed.
"We're trying to teach y/n how to fly, but Gabriel's explanation was lost on her. May you?" Castiel explained, motioning to you. Nerves bundled in your stomach, trying to figure out why they'd bring another angel in, when there were two archangels already here!
"So, you want me to teach feather-puffs how to fly, because the two archangels who taught us how to heal and destroy couldn't?" Lucifer grumbled a bit, clearly annoyed.
"You were Michael's assistant, I assumed you'd know more about how-" He was cut off with a wave of Balthazar's hand. You had never realized Balthazar's wings were so... multicoloured. So... pretty. While the others had one clear colour with a few specks of off-shots in the mix, Balthazar's were different. Like an oil spil. Mostly black with random, almost metallic, rainbow of colours strewn about.
"Yes, I know how to properly teach an angel to fly." Balthazar seemed to boast, getting glares from the other two in response.
"Well sorry, we each had our proper roles." Lucifer hissed. A stare down between the two ensued, and everything felt wrong. Like the air was thicker, and gravity greater. Gabriel and Castiel ended up having to drag them apart.
"Let him get it over with, alright?" Gabriel told Lucifer, who grunted in response, but seemed to back off. With a new sense of pride, Balthazar began to explain the important aspects of flying, and how to do so. After a few attempts that weren't nearly as bad as the first, you managed to get in and out of the bunker, and even stopped in Paris for some wine.
"She can fly, you're services are no longer required, Balthazar." You just hoped Lucifer wouldn't start an all out apocalypse...
"No, I think I'll stay, just to... watch. An interesting little enigma: human turned angel." He teased, watching as fire flicked behind the elder archangel's eyes. After more talking down from Gabriel, everything got sorted out, and it was time to learn what your grace could do.
"Basically, you take your middle and forth finger, and press it to a mortal's head, and concentrate on sending your grace through them. Careful not to use to much. You only need a trace to heal." Gabriel explained (much better than he did flying), but it wasn't like you had anything to practice on. Or so you thought. Wings sounded behind you, and you turned to be greeted by Lucifer holding a nearly dead-Dean.
"Thank you, Lucifer." Gabriel said gratefully while your heart sank to your stomach, and Castiel went to heal the man, himself, but was stopped by Gabriel and Balthazar.
"Go on, y/n, you can do it." Gabriel insisted, and you forced your nerves down, doing just as Gabriel said. You concentrated on the amount you were sending through Dean, focusing on no more than a pin-head's worth. Your eyes screwed shut, unable to do so as you watched your friend bleed to death, but a gasp of air forced you to open them again.
"DEAN! Thank Chuck- you're okay!" You swung your arms around him, happy and relieved all at the same time. He hugged you back, completely lost from his near-death experience.
"What the hell was that for, Lucifer!?" He spun in a moment's notice, blowing up on the archangel. With a roll of his eyes, he pressed two fingers to Dean's head for a split second, knocking him out. You pointed down at the brother.
"That seems useful. When do I learn to do that?" Pleasantly surprised, Lucifer shrugged.
"It's the same process as healing, just don't hold your fingers to there forehead." That one would be very useful, indeed. Sure, all this angel stuff wasn't exactly easy, but you'd get the hang of it... right?
