One- Sorry I've been gone so long.
Two- Yes, yes I know this is an imagines book. Not a preferences. But know what? THIS IS HALLOWEEN, THIS IS HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN, HALL-OOOOOO-WEEN!-Dean-
Dean was not a fan of your celebration idea. Did you care? No. You sent out the invitations about a week ago, announcing your costume party. You already chose you and your boyfriend's costumes, though. You just needed to convince Dean to wear it. That was a problem for later, however, the problem of now was resisting the urge to eat all the scrumptious sweets made by yours truly. Once everything was set up just the way you wanted- bobbing for apples near the kitchen, treats (as well as a few tricks) in the study area, and Halloween decorations absolutely everywhere- it was time to change. You climbed the stairs to Dean's room, still planning a way to convince him to wear the hook costume you set out for him. Once Upon a Time was definitely a guilty pleasure, and now that you and Dean were going steady, you wanted a symbol of that. One like... Emma and Hook. Sounds ridiculous, but you were bound and determined to do this. You strode into his room confidently, not even taking in your surroundings before you spoke.
"Dean, I know you're completely objected... To... Halloween... What?" There he sat, in the full Hook gear, smirking slyly at you. For the most part you had your costume on; white tee, black leggings, black boots. Just needed your jacket. Dean picked it up with his un-hooked hand, and brought it over to a still very shocked you.
"I believe you need this." He handed you the jacket, and at a loss for what to do, you slipped it on, "So? What'd ya think?" He held out his arms to motion to his body with a goofy grin.
"Dean."
"Yeah, Hun?"
"The hook's on the wrong hand."-Sam-
You and Sam had just finished setting up your alter for the day of the dead celebration. Your layered tutus and sugar skull corset looked absolutely wonderful, but the heels (despite how painful they were) were definitely the best part! You set out the breads, and helped set up the photos for the alter. John and Mary were placed together, and you put a photo of your brother, Ryan-Joe, up on the alter as well. Dean added a few even. Kevin had what appeared to be some computer thing, Charlie had the Harry Potter box set, complete with 'The Cursed Child', and Bobby had his shotgun. Next was the time to set up some gifts for the three main people.
"For dad I figured he'd be happy with this." Dean held up a Swiss Army knife with a carving of the boys' names on the handle. He placed it gently in front of the smiling, happy picture for John. It was weird. A happy John was a rare thing to see. Next was your turn. You looked at the photo of the four-year old boy, and held up the brand new hot wheels race car.
"He loved these things. He had seventeen growing up..." Tears stung your eyes as a smile snuck its way into your features. Sam gently rubbed your back. Sam looked excited for his turn. Behind his skeleton mask, a hint of pride shone in his eyes.
"Mom always said she wanted us to grow up right. Normal. Well, I can't give her that, but I think the closest I'm going to get is y/n..." He pulled a photo of the both of you out, his other arm secure around your waist. You smiled, blushingly, at his touching words. He gingerly placed the picture under the frame of the portrait.
"And one more thing!" He pulled out a velvety red box, "I figured this would be by far the best gift I could give her..." He bent down onto his knee, clasping your left hand in both of his...
