CHAPTER 4: FROM BAD BOY TO BLOOD BAG

JORDAN P.O.V
I warily opened my eyes again as a bright light blurred out my vision. I soon realised that i was sitting directly in the sunlight, so i immediately moved. I looked around and noticed that i was in a classroom.

Okay, this is weird.

I was just in the cafeteria with Brayden. What the hell am i doing here?! I was on the floor, sitting up against one of the desks. I lifted myself up off of the ground using one of the desks for support. Once i was up i felt a surge of energy. It was weird because it felt like i had just..

Oh God.

My eyes widened as my eyes darted around the room. The memories of feeding on the random boy came flooding back in. It was empty.

There was no one in the room.

Okay, that's good because it means i didn't kill whoever was unfortunate enough to get fed on by a hungry vampire. But then again, that means that that person  managed to escape and is probably going to run down the corridors yelling bloody murder, exposing my secret in the process.

Yes people, I am a vampire!

And nobody will hesitate to believe that little piece of juicy information after my little PDA session with Ashley and Keshia this morning or my flash session with her clique in the cafeteria earlier. God, why the hell did i have to black out today of all days? It was going so great and now THIS!

The classroom door creaked open as i paced up and down the room. I froze immediately, suddenly aware of the blood smudged across my face. If anyone sees me like this I am done for! I spun around just in time to see him walk in.

Dantè O'Neill.

The town's bad boy. His black, straight hair was perfect. It was messy, but sexy nonetheless. His facial features were dark and mysterious, causing his emerald green eyes to stand out even more. He had a strong jaw line with barely noticeable stubble on his face.

Well, barely noticeable for a human.

His pink lips twitched as he took in my appearance, his facial expression not changing. God, is he always this angry-looking? My gaze met his. I mirrored his expression as i stared him off, then i noticed he was holding a towel to his neck and my eyes widened.

Please don't tell me i fed on the Bad Boy!

I mentally groaned. He cocked an eyebrow as he stared at me.

"Glad to see you're finally awake." He said smoothly. I raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"How long have i been out?!" I demanded. He continued to stare at me, a smug look on his face.

"Only about an hour, no biggie." He said smugly. My eyes widened. Shit, Brayden must be worried sick. I looked back at him only to see him smirk.

"What's wrong, Smith? Scared you missed a class?" He said mockingly. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" I asked as i eyed him suspiciously. His smirk grew as he stared at me.

"Why would i be afraid of you?" He asked casually. Okay, nope something is up with this guy.

"Uhm.. i almost killed you." I said in a durh tone but his facial expression remained smug.

"And?" He asked, pursing his lips together. I face palmed myself before taking a deep breath. Then i looked back up at him.

"Aaand I'm a vampire, O'Neill! You should be running like hell, not provoking me!" I exclaimed. He arrogantly cocked an eyebrow before he scanned my entire body up and down. Oddly enough, i suddenly felt subconscious about myself.

"Nice trends." He said with a wink. I felt a blush creep up my neck at the compliment but i quickly shook it off, turning my concentration back to the idiot in front of me.

"Hellooooo?! Are you not listening to me?!" I exclaimed, snapping my fingers infront of his face. He smirked before walking past me, his shoulder brushing against me.

"Yeah, I'm listening to you." He said calmly before turning around to face me again. I crossed my arms before walking behind him. "Here, get yourself cleaned up before anyone else sees." He said then threw me a clean towel and i began to wipe my mouth with it.

"Thanks, but then didn't you hear the part about me being a vampire?!" I asked bluntly. He sat down in one of the desks.

"Yeah but i kinda figured that by the way you leached off of me earlier on." He deadpanned. I cocked an eyebrow before throwing the towel back at him and crossing my arms.

"So you're not going to tell anyone?" I asked hesitantly. He shot me a look of disbelief after snatching the towel from mid air.

"Why would i wanna do that?" He asked innocently. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Why not?" I retorted, putting my hands on my hips. He grinned.

"Because i don't want the hunters finding out about you." He said smugly, as if he were indirectly threatening me. My eyes widened.

"Hunters?" I asked hesitantly, as confusion and fear sprung up all over. Dante's face fell as he stared at me, a look of disbelief finding it's way onto his face.

"You don't know about the hunters?" He asked slowly and i shook my head. His brow furrowed. "Jordan, there are Vampire Hunters here in Chance Harbour." He said in concern. My heart literally stopped as i went into panic mode.

"W-what?" I asked, backing away. Nobody warned me about hunters before i moved back here. Nobody said there would be any threats in this state! Dantè got up slowly, moving closer to me.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked slowly. I must've gone white by now because Dantè had a genuine look of concern on his face. I looked up at him as he hovered above me, looking down at me.

"I-I'm fine." I said quickly before trying to walk away from him. A hand gripping my wrist stopped me. Dantè pulled me back, his face only centimetres from my own.

"You have something on your face." He said quietly before reaching up and gently stroking his thumb over my cheek.

His touch sent chills throughout my body as i stared up at his beautiful face, his long lashes bringing out his eyes. He began to lean in, closing the distance between the two of us. This immediately sent me into panic mode. No ways, Dantè is about to kiss me! Oh God, Oh God, Oh God! I kept a straight face as his came only inches from my own, then changed direction and found it's way to the side of my head, his soft lips brushing my ear. By now, my heart was thumping hard in my chest.

"You should've seen the look on your face!" He whispered in my ear. It took me a moment to process what he was saying before my eyes grew and anger flared through me.

"You fucking bastard!" I exclaimed, shoving him away from me. There are no hunters here in Chance Harbour. God, this fucking..

"Hey!" He exclaimed before erupting into a fit of laughter. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Oh you think this is funny, huh?" I asked with a cocked brow. He stopped laughing and stared at me.

"No durh!" He exclaimed before laughing again and i felt myself fume.

"Well, congratulations, O'Neill. You just made yourself a new enemy. You went from Bad Boy to Blood Bag in a matter of seconds, now let's see how long it takes you to go from bad boy to bitch boy!" I exclaimed with a smirk. I turned on my heel and began to strut over towards the classroom door.

"Hey, Jordan! Wait! I'm sorry!" Dantè called after me, but i ignored him as i pushed open the door and made my way to class.

That nigga just made the biggest mistake of his life.
