Samantha's POV

I set the last box in the trunk of my car. The Southern California winds whipped my hair back. I closed the trunk door and turned to my parents. My mom looked close to crying.

"Mom don't cry! You going to make me cry!" I exclaimed. My mom ran and bear hugged me.

"I'll be back for the holidays!"

"You better!" My mom said pulling away. I smiled weakly. I went up and hugged my dad.

"Have a good trip sweets. Be safe! Call when you get there!"  He said. We pulled away. I nodded.

"Send pictures of the place!" My mom said as I went around the car and got into the driver's seats. I drove off. The whole way there, I blasted music.

SKIPPING CAR RIDE

I pulled up in front of my house. It was a two story with 2 rooms and two and a half baths. The both of the rooms have a bathroom connected. I sighed and pulled out the keys. A black Range Rover pulled in front of me. I got out of my car. The driver side door opened. A man with long black hair got out. He had sunglasses over his eyes and was wearing all black. He stared at me. I smiled at him and walked to my trunk. The man's boots scuffed as he walked to the house right next to mine. I opened the trunk and grabbed a box. Walking up to my front door, I noticed people standing on the lawn next to mine. The same house the man went into. There were 5 men and two girls. One of the girls started walking towards me.

"Hello! Im Chrissy! Would you like some help?" She spoke.

"Uh sure." I hesitated. She smiled and walked towards my car. I unlocked the front door to my new house. I set down the box and walked into the kitchen. I set down the keys on the counter. I heard Chrissy walk in.

"You can set them anywhere!" I exclaimed walking out of the kitchen.

"Okay."

I walked back out. The others were still standing on the lawn. This time in a circle talking.

"Do you have any furniture?" Chrissy asked.

"My mom and dad are shipping all of my furniture here. I need to buy paint and curtains. Also all of the necessities like towels, silverware and stuff like that." I said grabbing a box. Chrissy nodded and grabbed one too.

"I can take you to the store if you would like. My girlfriend, Alex and I need to go there anyway."

"Oh, sure! Thanks!" We finished unloading all of the boxes.

"Let me just take a shower and get ready, then we can go." I nodded.

"Okay!"

"Just come over when ready. I'll tell my roommates to let you in." She said before running off. I sighing a turned in a circle. I walked over to a box labeled clothes and pulled out white frayed shorts and black shirt. I walked over to a place out of the view of the windows.  After changing, I grabbed my keys, phone and stuffed my credit card in my pocket before walking out the door. I locked the door and headed over to Chrissy's place.
