Chapter 14

Sams POV

The next morning I got up and got ready. Since we will be watching movies all day I put on some comfy clothes. Before heading out the door, I slipped on a beanie. Shutting the door behind me, I walked over to house next to mine. As I was walking, it started down pouring. I ran the rest of the way. Alex texted me last night saying to just walk right in. I turned the door handle and walked right into the warm inviting house. Oh boy was I wrong today. I walked into a nightmare.

"THATS A FUCKING STUPID IDEA!" Jinxx screamed at Chrissy.

"SHE WILL HAVE TO FIND OUT SOONER OR LATER! SHES ASHLEY'S SOULMATE!" Chrissy yelled. Jinxx and Chrissy started yelling back and forth. The storm got worse.

"JINXX CALM THE FUCK DOWN BEFORE YOU CAUSE A TORNADO!" Alex screeched. Tornado? Andy stared at Jinxx. Jinxx started to calm down. So did the storm. What the fuck is going on?

"ANDY QUIT CALMING ME DOWN YOU FUCKER!" Jinxx screamed. Andy stopped staring. CC got up and starting trying to calm Jinxx down. While trying to he kept knocking things over.
I watched Ashley shoot up and run over collecting everything. He was a blur of black. Alex flung her hand back. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a vase rise and shoot towards the stairs. I looked over to see Jake running down the stairs. He stumbled and fell down. He turned into a cat. I gasped. None of them noticed me.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? OR SHOULD I SAY WHAT?" I screamed over them and the storm. Everyone quieted down. The storm stopped. Alex slowly turned around to face me. Jake ran over and jumped onto Andy's lap.

"Sam..." Ashley started walking towards me. I put hand up.

"Stay the fuck away from me" I growled before running out the door to my house. I heard Chrissy run after me. She grabbed my arm turning me to face her.

"Im human, you can trust me." She slowly and calmly stated when she saw me flinch. I looked behind her to see the others watching us with concern in their eyes. My eyes connected with Ashley's. He sadly smiled at me. Chrissy put an arm around my shoulders leading me into my house.

"Okay have a seat on the couch, would you like anything to drink?" I shook my head.

"wh-what are they-y-y?" I stuttered out.

"They are fallen angels. Cast down from heaven to rid of vampires. Thats why we didn't bring Alex to the hospital when she fainted. Why Ashley immediately put his arm around you at the fair. As you saw they each have a power." Rumbles of thunder shook the house. Chrissy giggled. I looked at her weirdly.

"Jinxx is worried. Anywhore, they will not hurt you." Chrissy clarified.

"What did you mean by soulmate?" I asked. She smiled.

"each of them have a soulmate. Im Alex's. The only way they can get hurt or be killed is if we get hurt or killed. Their soulmates are human. You being Ashley's." Chrissy said.

"What if i dont want to be his soulmate?"

"You cant chose. But knowing you are scared of him is probably hurting him so much. Will you come over and watch movies?" She cautiously asked. I thought about it. She said they wont hurt me. Also she is human and they haven't hurt her. I felt my self nodding. Chrissy smiled and pulled me back to their house. All of them were on the couch sitting in silence, waiting for Chrissy to return. Alex's head shot up as she heard the door. She smiled when she noticed me walk in behind Chrissy.

"We didn't scare you away?" Alex joked. I shook my head.

"Almost did, Chrissy explained things." I made eye contact with Jinxx. He looked at me worried.

"So what are your guy's powers? Beside Jake, I kinda figured yours out seeing that you turned into a cat." I asked giggling at the end. They chuckled.

"I can control peoples emotions and make them feel things." Andy spoke.

"I am the destroyer!" CC exclaimed flexing. Jinxx rolled his eyes.

"I can control the elements. Like a witch." Jinxx said. I smiled at him and nodded before looking at Alex.

"Read minds and moving things with mind. Like this." Alex said.  I walked over and sat next to Ashley. Jake, still in cat form, walked over and laid in Ashley's lap.

"I am like a vampire, but i dont need to drink blood. Also my blood heals people." Ashley said looking at me. I smiled at him. A sense of relief washed over his face. I may seem like I'm not a little scared but thats because I dont want to hurt his feelings. Jake hissed. Ashley shoved him off his lap. I watched as Jake turned back into a human.

"I also can talk in minds." Jake said sitting down on the floor in front of CC. I nodded.

"So what movie are we going to watch?" I asked. Ashley put his arm around me. I flinched. They noticed and frowned.

"You dont have to be afraid and Alex forced us into playing All Time Low's new movie." Andy said. I nodded.

"I love it." Alex looked at me. I stared at her.

"My mind has turned to mashed potatoes." We said in sync. The others laughed. Today started our weird and scary but ended lovely.
