Chapter 21

Alex Pov

Sam, Andy and Chrissy left to go shopping.

"I'm going to need help setting up my date!" I announced. Ashley stood up.

"I'm sorry, Ive got my own date to work on." He said kissing my forehead before running over to our house.

"I can help. What ya need?" Ryan said.

"Can you go out and buy a wooden basket?" He nodded. I handed him some money. Ryan walked out the door.

"What are you planning?" Chris asked.

"I want to have a picnic and watch the sunset."

"Okay. Ricky and I can go set up some lights." Balz said. I nodded.

"I think we have some Christmas lights you can use." Jake said going to our house to look. Balz and Ricky in suit.

"ill cook a meal! Chris can you help me?"Jinxx said going over to our house. Chris nodded and followed.

"ooh what can i do?" CC asked.

"CC, can you make a playlist of slow songs?" I asked the hyper boy jumping in his seat. He nodded. I handed my phone. Ghost turned to me.

"What can i help with?" He asked. I smiled at him.

"You can help me get ready!" He smiled. I grabbed his hand and dragged him over to our house.

"Okay so its casual, right?"He asked going into my closet.

"Yep!"I pulled out my phone and texted Chrissy then Sam.

Get Sam ready at her house. XX

To: Sam

You're getting ready at your house. Make sure Chrissy dresses casual

"Okay, I think I have the perfect outfit!" He pulled out a flannel and skinny jeans.
"This with these boots."

"Okay."I went and got changed.

"Hair and makeup time!" Ghost combed and straightened my hair before throwing it up in a ponytail. Ill never understand why he straightened it. Then he started on my makeup.

"Just going to do a simple look. Which is just lipstick." He said looking at my makeup. Ghost applied my lipstick. I quickly changed out my phone case.

"And done!" I exclaimed. We walked downstairs. Jinxx walked out from the living room.

"You look great, sis. The basket is in the back seat under the blanket. Everything is set. I also put a mini Bluetooth speaker." He said. I smiled.

"Thank you! Can you tell the others thank you too?" I said. He nodded. Ryan walked by.

"I put the extra money in your wallet!" He said before going into the living room.

"Well, you should get going!" Ghost said walking me to the door. I grabbed the car keys.

"Thanks for helping me get ready Ghost!"

"No problem. Now go have fun!"

Taking a deep breath, I walked over to Sam's house. Sam answered the door.

"Hey!" She said letting me in. She was in a dress and heels.

"Hey! Mr. Purdy is over there stressing out about your date. I heard him talking to CC as I left." I said laughing at the end. She giggled.

"Well, let me go get your date." Sam ran as fast as she could in heel and dress up the stairs. A door opened.

"she here?" I heard Chrissy ask.

"Yeah, come on." I looked up to see Chrissy and Sam walking down the stairs. Sam's heels clicking. But i didn't pay much attention to her. My attention was on my beautiful girlfriend. I smiled grabbing her hand.

"You look amazing!" I said pecking her cheek. My lipstick left a mark. She giggled and wiped it off.

"So do you."

"Well we should be getting off." Chrissy nodded before grabbing a small clutch.

"Have fun you two!" Sam said closing the door behind us. I grabbed Chrissy's hand and started swinging out hands.

"So where are we going?" she asked.

"Its a surprise."

"Tell me..." she dragged out the 'e'.

"Nope!" I said popping the 'p'. She pouted. I pecked her bottom lip. "Not going to work." I opened the door for her.

"Madam" I said. She giggled.

"Thank you!" She said in a posh voice. I shut the door before going and getting in the driver's side.

"Some Sexicans?" I said putting in the CD.

"Oh yes please."

We screamed the lyrics all of the way there. I grabbed a bandana from the backseat.

"Put this on around your eyes." I said handing it to here. Chrissy without questions put on the bandana. I parked the car before opening my door.

"ill be right back." I said before grabbing the basket and blanket. Ricky and Balz strung the lights in the near by tree. They will light up the spot when the sun goes down .I quickly laid the blanket down and set down the basket before running back to the car. I opened Chrissy's door and helped her out.

"Where are we?" She questioned.

"You'll see." I walked her over to in front of the blanket. "Okay uncover your eyes." She ripped the bandana off and gasped.

"This is beautiful!" She exclaimed. She looked down at the blanket.

"I thought we could have dinner and watch the sunset." I said rubbing the back of my neck. Chrissy ran up and kissed me.

"Its perfect. Thank you." We sat down. I opened the basket and took out the food. Jinxx and Chris had made a spaghetti. I pulled out the two fork and the two water bottles.

"This looks delicious!" Chrissy said grabbing a fork.

"Jinxx and Chris made it."

"Remind me to thank them!" She said taking a bite. She moaned. "THIS IS SO GOOD!"

Before I started eating I connected the speaker and turned on the playlist CC made. Sleeping with Sirens, The Strays started playing. Chrissy smiled. We sat and ate while listening to music. The sun started setting. I picked up the plate and forks, setting them in the basket before moving the basket out of the way.

"Chrissy. Ever since i laid eyes on you, i knew you were the one. Not just because you're my soulmate by fate. But i fell in love. I love you so so so much Chrissy. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much!" I said grabbing her hands. Tears rolled down her face.

"Holy! I love you too!" She said before kissing me. I kissed back. It was short but full of passion.

"I actually got your something." I looked at her surprised.

"Really?"

"Yeah thats why i brought this clutch." She opened the small purse and pulled out a choker. "Since you lost yours, i got you a new one." Chrissy handed me the necklace. I looked at it. Engraved on a pendant was our names and the day we met. Tears sprung to my eyes.

"Thank you so much!" I said before kissing her. We fell backwards. We kissed for a bit until i pulled away. Chrissy helped me put on the necklace. After she kissed my cheek and rested her head on my shoulder. We watched the sunset. This day couldn't have gone any better.
