Fallen By You

Chapter 2

I walked over to Chrissy's house, right next door. I knocked on the door. A tall, very skinny, messy black-haired man wearing a bandana around his head opened the door. My eyes widened as I noticed he was shirtless.

"Oh, um excuse me for a moment." the man spoke shutting the door. A few seconds later, he appeared again with a shirt.

"You Chrissy's friend?"

"Yeah, also her new neighbor." The man opened the door wider.

"I'm Christian, but you can call me CC and I also live here. Come on in." I smiled and walked in. CC led me into the living room. Two other guys sat in there. They both had long black hair. One's hair looked like it defied gravity. The other's was poofy like a lion's mane. They both looked up as we walked in. I turned to ask CC something, but he wasn't there. I looked back at the other two guys to find them staring at me.                                                                         

"Uh, hi. I'm Samantha, Chrissy's friend, and neighbor." I spoke shyly. The one that's hair defied gravity snapped out of his gaze.

"Oh hi. I'm Jake. I live with Chrissy too. Basically, anyone you meet in this house lives here. Including this guy" He said elbowing the man next to him in the ribs. The guy snapped out of whatever he was in. He looked confused at me before speaking.

"I'm Andy." He spoke. Damn, he has a low, deep voice. I heard someone running in. Chrissy ran in. Her eyes widened when she spotted Andy and Jake.

"CC, YOU LEFT HER ALONE WITH THESE TWO!"

"AT LEAST IT WASN'T ASHLEY!" CC yelled back.

I heard another voice "HEY!"

A female voice came from right down the hall, "YOU KNOW ITS TRUE ASH!" A girl with grey hair walked in.

"Alex, this is...I just realized I never got your name."

"YOU NEVER GOT HER NAME AND YOU LET HER IN THE HOUSE! CHRISSY YOU IDIOT!" A voice yelled. Concern laced in with each word. A man with shoulder-length black hair walked in.

"Shut it mama Jinxx!" Andy and Chrissy spoke at the same time.

"Hey! Don't call my girlfriend an idiot! You two, don't call my brother mama Jinxx!" Alex exclaimed. This 'Jinxx' guy stared me down, with concern in his eyes.

"This is Jinxx, my brother and like the father figure of the house. Because EVERYONE HERE IS AN IDIOT!" Alex shouted.

"Hey what about me!" Chrissy pouted. She stuck out her bottom lip.

"Awe! Not you babe" Jinxx smiled weakly still looking at me. I started to get uncomfortable.

"Uh, could we go? By the way, I'm Samantha." I said slowly. Chrissy looks at Jinxx then at me.

"Oh, course! And I'm going to call you Sam for short. No choice." She exclaimed happily before linking arms with Alex and then offering her other arm to me. I smiled and linked my arm. We skipped off towards the door, making the guys laugh. Alex stopped.

"CHRISTIAN!" I heard shuffling and then feet pounding on the stairs. I turned around to see CC trip on the bottom step and face plant on to the floor. I gasped worriedly. Alex and Chrissy burst out laughing.

"CC, you okay?" I asked. He looked up. His hair fell on his face. He blew it away.

"Yep all good! Happens all the time!" He proclaimed, standing up and running over. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door. Alex and Chrissy ran after us. CC picked me up bridal style and set me on the passenger seat. He ran around the car, flailing his hands above his head. He jumped into the driver's seat just as Chrissy and Alex opened the back doors. They slid in. CC started the car and drove off.

SKIPPING CAR RIDE

We arrived at the mall. CC whipped into a parking spot. There was hardly anyone here.

"Sears should have necessities. After we will go to the grocery store. Me and Sam can buy food for her while Chrissy and Alex buy stuff for dinner." CC spoke.  We nodded and got out of the car. CC grabbed my hand. I looked up at him. He smiled down at me, before smirking at the other two. He bolted, pulling me along.

"NOT AGAIN!" Chrissy and Alex shouted.

"CC STOP!" I shouted as I lost my footing. He stopped. I crashed into him making us both fall down.

"Goddammit!" I shouted. CC smiled innocently at me. I glared. Alex helped me up as Chrissy helped CC.

 "NO MORE RUNNING!" I said poking CC chest. He laughed and nodded. We walked into the mall.

"Sears first!" Chrissy exclaimed. We walked into sears. I pulled out my phone. Last night, I had made a list of everything I would have to buy. Alex spotted my phone case.

"Ashley is going to love you." She spoke. I looked up at them. Chrissy and CC looked at my phone and agreed. I shook my head and looked at my list.

Towels

Silverware

Hand soap

Dish soap

pots and pans

plates,cups,bowls

containers

candle

coffee maker

toaster

toilet paper

paper  towels

laundry soap

bleach

cleaning supplies

I named everything off. Christian grabbed a cart.

"Let's go!" We walked around the store grabbing everything I needed. After we had everything we went to the checkout. I paid and we carried everything to the car. CC drove to the food store. As we got out his phone rang. I smirked and stole it.

"This is Christian speaking," I said.

"CC invite that girl over for dinner." A voice spoke before hanging up. I tossed CC his phone.

"I guess I'm invited over for dinner." They nodded.

"Who was it?" Alex questioned. I shrugged.

"I'm surprised they didn't question me when I didn't sound like CC."

"Oh, I change my voice a lot when I answer the phone." He simply said. I nodded.

SKIPPING SHOPPING

We got in the car and drove back to our homes. Before getting out we exchanged numbers. They helped me carry everything in.

"Uh you can get ready then come on over," CC said. I nodded and smiled.

"Thanks for taking me shopping! See you soon I guess." I said. They smiled and nodded before walking out the door.
